As per my knowledge for Standard Renko charts
Ninja trader is the best option, but you need to pay for that.
Fast broker's "Pathfinder" Platform,& PFG Best's BESTDirect 8.0 are good option too.
The more you trade the less you earn.
Trade Interceptor has renko and kagi charts too, but it's java

It's amazing when you have been using metatrader for 3 or 4 years and you look at the absolute shite that other companies have to offer. I've looked at PFGBest 8.0 and TradeInterceptor and both are just hopeless. FXPro's ctrader is awful too, it makes you wonder what these people are thinking.

I'll take a look at GFT, I thought they are mt4?
gft have dealbook 360 its a good platform and nice easy charts

Once you try it you won't be willing to go back to MT4.

Well I've looked at Ninjatrader and Multicharts and can't get on with either. Why do they need to be so over complicated?

The last one left to try is Pathfinder, registered and waiting for an email.
Nope, that's no good either. Oh well, have to stick with mt4. Thanks again to all those who helped.

I just like the simplicity and functionality of mt4. I've tried a few different platforms over the last few days and just can't use them. One or two of them didn't even have a simple way to zoom the chart, it's a nightmare when you're used to mt4. I like the way you can have all your charts tabbed along the bottom of your screen and if you want to see them all at the same time it's easy to tile them. I struggled to even put a moving average on some of these clunky horrible things.

Also my main concern was finding a better solution to renko charts than having loads of charts open in the mt4 work around. I can't figure out why renko charts on most of these other platforms give a different chart depending on what timeframe you are on, renko charts are not based on time and so should be the same in all timeframes.

Not sure what different platforms you used. Zoom in/out is easy in both MC and NT and you can zoom in and out to a greater degree in these than in MT4. Picture attached. Try doing the same in MT4 (3 charts of the same instrument in different resolution in one workspace) and you will fail.

Again, not sure what platforms you tried, but the feature you want is a pretty basic one.

A few possibilities:
- you used different data feeds
- you did not configure data settings properly
- many more

Fair enough. Thanks for your help. I suppose it's what you're used to.
I use 4 platforms. Their ranking in order from best to worst (ease of use, feature richness and quality):

1. Multicharts
2. Ninja Trader
3. Metatrader
4. Jforex

Number 1 and 2 have also free versions (you don't need to pay USD +1k to get them). It will take a week before you explore all functionalities of either of the two. After one week feel free to judge.

Once you get used to Ninja Trader you can't go back to MT4
Apart from the standard bar types there is a large range of custom bar types you can add. I use the Rjay's renkohybrid bars for almost all my trading.
