Hello there; I was just wondering if anyone is still using this system? Thanks BK for this system..If anyone would care to respond, what kind of money management system are you using? Since there is no stop loss or real take profit, how do you calculate the number of lots or micro lots for this system? Thanks again for a very simple and direct system..I realize that at 100 pips, you put a SL at +5, or at 50 pips, +1, but if anyone would care to reply, thankyou in advance..

Hi Rokz and fellow traders. I need your help. Rokz I really like your simple order managemeny EA but for some reason it won't close half the order (0.10) when the order hits +30 pips. It is moving the SL to BE +5 which is great. I'm sure im doing something dumb here ?

I still use the system. I must admit though sometimes my stop is less that 100pips. This is only if the 10sma is nearer current price action than 100pips so I tuck the stop behind the 10sma. As per number of lots to trade this is the same with any other system. Find out what 3% of your account and set your trade size so that if you lose 100pips it would not be mor than that 3%

Hello Olu and justreality --

Like Olu, I continue to use the BKG 10 sma system.

The one adjustment I prefer to make is to wait for the slope of the 10 line to at least flatten to neutral or turn even slightly to the direction on price. It is not unusual for the price candle to close across the 10, lets say up, while the 10 line still points down.

Often this is just an early entry and it works fine. However, I do find you can increase you win rate and/or avoid a temporary draw down by waiting for the 10 to turn toward price. Of course, this may also limit some gains.

Just my way. Certainly not arguing this for everyone.

And Olu is braver than me with his 3% per trade limit. I usually won't go past 2%. HOWEVER, you must remember that if the long term expected value of any trade on this system is positive (it is!) then allowing more reasonable risk is sound. It doesn't mean the next trade will succeed but that over time your acct will grow much faster using his 3%.

You will trade well with this system.

Thanks everyone for your responses, really appreciate them....Now what about the exit strategies...I have read the posts but in my opinion, I personally like the +1 at 50 pips..I then also follow the 10 Sma with the trend each day and set the SL accordingly until I get stopped out..This way if the world blows up, I still have some locked it pips...LOL...I use the FAB 4 and understand now the reasoning behind the theory that was set by BK...Any thoughts on the exit strategy..and again thanks in advance..

i only trade these pairs and use bk support and res expert edvisor....my gold is to make 200 pips a week..and i do... i use the swiss army ea to control my trades.
i use a 30 pip stop loss settings on the swiss army to trail the price by the 30 pip sl. now if the price moves in my favor 10 pips i only have a 20 pip exposer. the trade last night was the gpb/usd......... it has moved about 100.pips now i am locked in for 70 pip profit and has several hundred pips to hit bk support. i do not take all trades unless the s/r is about 100 pips away.....

TEXAN,

In the above post " use bk support and res expert edvisor " what is bk ? and is that an support and resistance expert advisor ?, if its a support and resistance expert advisor, can you please provide me with that expert advisor or indicator and if possible can you also post the swiss army expert advisor . ( I know its a lot to ask, but it will be really helpful if u can provide those expert advisors )

Hey fxscalp, this may be a silly question but are the orders your trying to close larger than 0.1? Or are you meant to be closing orders in the 0.01 range?

Hi Rokz, first of all that wasn’t a silly question - I wasn’tclear on what I was trying to do! I use a 0.2 of a lot as my initial orderwith, in this case a SL 0f 70, I would like to have my BE moved to +5pips whenmy order is +30 pips and have the ea close half the order (0.1) at the +30 pipprofit. I have noticed that the ea will automatically place the SL but I don’tsee a TP line. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong...........

am just following this system with simplicity on my demo account.l enter based on the previous candle colour, trading the trend.l enter 10mns before the the new opens, but l make sure l check simple basic info like not buying at the resistance and selling at the demand,so far l make more than 300 pips a day and my stop loss is 50pps.my higgest is 1000 pips in one day,am going live with this system soon.l have been trading for a year so its not a mistake making these pips and this is real stress free trading.l enter all 21 pairs at once.my losses are cancelled by my wins
