Dear fellow traders,

I've been trading for about three years now. Looking at and interpreting charts got a lot easier. Yet, I stil have a problem with arranging my charts in metatrader. I simply don't know how to do that. I got only one sceen and I like to blow up my charts as big as possible, leaving room for only one pair/timeframe at once. Whenever I put up more than one chart at a time things get messy and I get confused. I lack any idea of how to handle a multiple chart per screen-setup in a comfortable way. This gets even more of a problem as I add investments and therefore charts to my portfolio (futures, stocks, etc.)

What would be a good, comfortable split-up that's easy to handle? How do you split up and arrange your charts (one- or multi-screen)? How can you easily switch between multiple charts/timeframes at once without loosing track?

Or to put it more general: What helps you to keep track of your trading and chart analysis?

Any input from you is appreciated. Thank you very much.
Hans

1) Get a monitor, they are cheap as, 24" is best bet, any laptop or computer will be able to run 2 screens

2) Run multiple copy of MT4

3) Got Windows 7? Learn what pressing Windows key + left or right arrow does...

I'd prefer to review my charts on 4 monitors, this allows to review different timeframes of different pairs simultaneously

What size do you have?

just curious, are they all matched, on a stand or side by side, same computer, VGA, DVI or HDMI cables?

wanting to get 4 setup myself next year, thanks,

Thanks for your input, guys. I guess there's no way around a multi screen-setup.
