Steve i think there is a bug in the slope detection module.
i am running the MA-Cross EA side by side with spider_hanover to see if it takes any trades because spider does not.
The MA-Cross EA just took a short trade in USDCAD although the slope of the USD and the CAD both were negative. The EA shouldnt have done this i think.
Look at the screenshots,
USD H1 now = 51.17, Shift 1 = 54.27 - this is a negative slope direction
CAD H1 now = 49.60, Shift 1 = 52.34 - this is a negative slope direction too
The MA Cross was downwards and the EA took a sell where it should not because of the incorrect slope direction.
For a correct sell there had to be a positive slope direction in the CAD.
--------------------------------------
I think there is a problem in the spider EA too. Spider doesnt take any trades at all with the new hanover module. I am no coder, so i am unable to find out why.. unfortunately
thanks
