first trade took a loss -15pips my fault i got in late, otherwise its actually a BE trade, next signal and pending sell stop in place ..

Why enter late? Just wait until next full signal. Also there was many high level news this morning. You should wait until after news release and take the signal past the news.

EUR-Euro-Zone PPI Index release Actual - 1.9 Forecast - 1.9 on target no real effect because as expected.

Always check the FF event calendar for high impact news events because they influence price aktion. Also, I hope you are not trade real money until you can produce consistant results. I say that because you post that you have lots of loss over the past 10 trade days. If you are loss to many you should practice only with demo account until you are able to consistant win.

I've already downloaded and installed indikators symphony matrix 4.4 and 1.7 with signals 1.7 and 1.8 but it seems only 4.4 works for me with signals 1.7, is it normal?

I use only v4.4h Matrix all others are older versions. Play with if you desire but v4.4h is most stable.

That is good rule to use that after 15 bars of no execute you remove pending until next signal.
I do that sometimes after 12 bars but also use trend row change as my cancel pending.

Markt will be low volume because there is EU Minister meeting this day. After the close meeting there will be press conference and that is when markt (may) become volitial.

Evaluator thanks for the pointers, yes i've had plenty losers so far I'm on day 1 of week 4 and the account is quite in the red, it is a live account but a very small one so even if i lose it all it doesn't really matter, because the account is tiny and trading a live account even a small one from past experience helps me learn better.
Hi Evaluator and other traders,

I have read the rules and think this system has potential. I am not a day trader but swing and position trader so would like to know if any one has tried the symphonie on higher time frames like Daily and Weekly. Would the indicator repaint issue have any major impact on these TF.

Hi Evaluator,

I have watching this thread for a while, which I am considering adding your system as one new strategy into my algo strategies pool.

I have to say what you did is very good. However, I have some questions which needs your help, and I hope you won't feel offended as I just want to make my understanding clear and maybe contribute to this thread.

1. Regarding Trendline indicator, I see you are using CCI > 0 as up signal and CCI < 0 as down signal. As CCI is a indicator with high volatility, have you tried with RSI to give trendline indicator before? I did a simple test and seems RSI gives more stable signal, e.x. it avoids the trendline signal change happened at a short term pullback following a strong move. Have you thought about giving up/down indicator by crossabove/crossbelow some certain level (like -100/100 in CCI) instead of using zero?

2. In your new indicators matrix 4.4h, the calculation of emotion indicator has changed if I am correct. Could you kindly explain the new method you implement in v4.4h?

These are just some dummy questions but I really need your help.

So what has changed for indicators to not repaint. Magic?

Whatever the case I am happy that repainting is gone and now I can backtest system to see its performance on higher TF and place reliance.

I will be using Weekly for trend direction (3 same colour as I ignore trendline) and Daily for entry when 3 are same colour and RSI is showing over bought / sold condition and then enter. Exit when sentiment and emotion indi change colour. Breakeven when first extreme signal.

What settings should I use for Weekly?

Evaluator: Which pairs do you trade? I am thinking EU, GU, AU, UCAD, and EJ
my tp today hit and iam a happy user from this nice baby.

i make 80 pip - 30 pip from my first wrong signal but thats the way it work out.

In long EUR/USD trade
A lot of markt indecision this morning. I hope my 1.30400 long do not have stoploss hit. It is +30 and running so I protect with +3 pip stoploss but I want more pips!

Refering back to my Post# 17,071 see below how the less sensitive settings (below screenshot) would keep one out of the whipsaws of the more sensitive setting and more inline with trend of the movement. Sometimes it is good to have a more stronger setting. It is really a matter of preference which Matrix setting one uses because each have their good and bad.
