What do you thing is your edge?

Hallo, I want to open up a tread about what edge you thing you have? I know we have Reres that started the “EDGE thread” that stated the question; where exactly is an edge in trading?

I want to state a different question, where do you think YOUR edge is in your trading system? I want this to be more a list tread where people can explain why they thing X and Y give them an edge. I am on the way to make my second trading system and I try to find what will give me the edge. As for now I have fund this edges that will tip odds into my fever:

Trade long term
Trading with a positive interest rate
Trading with the long term trend
Buy too late and sell too early – do not try to get the position at the bottom or at the top of the trend
Study the VSA and find the strength and weakness in the market
Always make the trade break even

If I trade with trend + have interest rate on my side (earn money even if my trade hit BE) + VSA + have a clear trend to jump into = I have a good edge

What do you thing and what do you believe is your edge in your trading system?

The best edge I've discovered (after 4-5 years of experimenting) is finding potentially low risk intraday entry points on the pairs offering the strongest, cleanest daily/weekly trends, and then letting the surviving trades ride those trends for as long as they remain intact.

For me, my edge came when I realised that for every 5 ticks the price made in direction of the trend, it made another 500 ticks that did not go anywhere at all.

if you can follow this to a T and be patient, and use 4:1 RR, trading off of a 4h chart or higher, it is near impossible to be unsuccessful. You almost have to be a complete moron to screw this system up....

X2 i just watch the newbies trade. you can see it and it's hilarious. i watched a breakout and i was like "uh uh uh. there go the amateurs!" then all off the sudden...BAM. all the stops were taken out with just 2 5 minute candles lol
