Another2 good trades for me today, all done with Market Orders, I cant trust myself in front of the screen watching price spring one way or another.

Picked up 64 pips on GBPJPY from demand level, although it came within 2 pips of my SL.

Also still in on GBPCHF short, up 55 pips so far and it came within 1 pip of my original TP earlier on, so hanging on to it for moment waiting on the trend to deliver to me.

So those were the good trades today, however I stood in front of the USDCAD train that refused to stop at my supply levels I had picked out after the news release. So I picked myself up and challenged it again, only to be ceremonyously wiped away again. A lack of discipline made me go in again for another loss. I suspect a change of trend direction for CAD will occur now. Hopefully lesson learnt.

Just another one worth mentioning, could have got another 40 pips on EURGBP today but I am very wary of what Sam Selden calls "cutting down trees" where market orders are eventually all processed and price will break through, this was the 5th touch of this price point.

There were somewhat similar good trades also on EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDCHF all for 50 pips each today, with small SL's required.

...oh GBPCHF nearly there now....

Hi Nawlins,

nice to hear from you, I have been a bit ill for the past week.

I use GFT, dealbook, and I dont trade futures.

Does anyone else use dealbook?

If so does anyone know how to use anything other than lines going acroos the screen, it would be ideal to use wht every one else has, like a colored zone area, but I cant work it out on deal book.

That's funny was chatting on skype with my sister and she sent me that very trade. she had a PO set but canceled it and entered manually because it missed the Level by a few.. Great trade right between those levels . nothing between there to stop it . even though it was a news move . Trust the levels and you will be alright.

Great Trade. Ken

I use GFT let look at it but don't think you can add those nice little colored boxes. GFT now also has a MT4 platform as well. I have never used it but it is available on theirs as well as on Oanda. I am just pretty simple minded and like to keep it so.

Did you actually use the slow stochs at the factory settings to help gain entry . The all star entry on that 5 min chart. ? . Nice trade

Glad to see some are having some success with this.

For everyone else. The all star entry is a fast chart using a oscillator as a tool to help see over bought or over sold. in the beginning. The suggestion was the CCI or Slow Stochastic. Both just at factory settings. Then he settled on bollinger bands I think because it posts on the charts not taking up valuable real estate.

Cheers Ken

Nice trade ejiexe - I noticed another demand level higher up on the M5 chart (top blue line on the attached chart) that would have been good for three 20 pip scalp trades this morning.

Can anyone answer this: we were in a downtrend when the long trade was entered @ 1.5970. How did you know it would retrace almost 100% of the way back to 1.6036? Did you just hope it would as we are in a generally ranging market?

PB
