Hi Guys,

This is a rather unusual request, but is there an EA that will place trades by reading the experts tab.

I have an indicator that uses alarms, the author will not give me the EA aswell as he has licensed the EA to a institutional firm.

BAsically the indicator pops up an alarm but I also noticed it writes to the experts tab, i.e. EUR/USD 4h Place buy trade, it also pops up alerts for exits.

So I want an EA that will read the tab and then place the trade.

If such an EA does not exist I'll be willing to share the indicator with the programmer on the condition that it is not disclosed or resold.
Most of the people on this forum who are capable of doing what you want (it is possible) would never do anything like this. They are not stupid and dishonest people. The conditions of use of the software are at the discretion of the author. If he does not permit it, it is illegal. Simple as that.

my understanding is that he owns the indicator but not the EA.

Maybe, but my understanding is different. Can't see why the owner would allow "sharing".

OK, unless you are actually interested in taking on the project please go back to your fairytale land of honesty and non stupid people.

Meanwhile I can converse with other stupid people about sharing a profitable strategy in exchange for a bit of help.

As for the poor EA owner who I'm cheating, I'm sure he won't cry too much considering the amount of money he made selling the EA, and besides it's not as if 1 other person trading the strategy is going to destroy the forex market or the strategy.
