We are consolidating around 4295 level. Below 4275 4250. A break of 4275 targets 4250. Resistances 4312 4325..Only a clear break of 4350 aims 4370 DPP

Nice chart mate! Yes I also expect a drop...really cant take any long trades at the moment. Higher TFs suggest 4150 before a possible bounce.

Always wait for a retracement before jumping into a trade. The only exception is Breakout (BO) trade where ur entry is MOMENTUM based.

Also, no matter the hike ..I agree with u Phanti..it could drop first to 4240-40..We could see 4150 until the end of the week. That is the level on a higher TF, in case of reversal and channel shift, strategy change needs to be applied.

Very useful guidance exactly as I would expect.

Re RSI its worth pointing out there was v clear Regular Bearish divergence in the 4HR chart last week so this weeks decline wasn't a huge shock especially considering the negative news out of China followed by the Portugal downgrade.

I'd like to make a couple of observations re the Bear Flag Black widow and yourself have pointed out.

Top of flag to base is around 180 pips. Projecting 180 down from top of flag would take us to 1.4165. That is coincidentally where the base of the triangle playing out on the daily chart is based.

The 60 day Average Daily range is 140 pips. If the Asian high today isn't broken that would take us to around 1.4203 which is where the 76 % Fib retrace of last weeks move sits.

Finally the 26 week Average weekly range is 354 pips and would sit at 1.4222.

All food for thought.

Good observations V. I read somwhere on FF threads that traders use indicator for finding retracements on m5. u dont need that, its a nonsense..just pay attention to swings/spikes and candles.
Market is positioning for ECB news.

Another confirmation of importance of 1.4240 level: middle of One2One bullish harmonic pattern just appered on my screen, adding to support.

If we break this then 1.4176 - 1.4182 is next. This level is roughly lower line of symetric triangle pattern as well.

I had same logic behind that trade, skalp at retrace. I've posted bcs we had same lvls, but if I will post here I will post charts if I have time

Anyway 4250 has been reached as my intraday projection went, let us wait for the fundies to play their game and then let the market decide.

Im not saying hike is possible or no, its just they need to justify the hike. Id always bet on hike on good PPI, but look....its getting worse.

No matter what, technicals have been respected all day long.
