Hey traders,

I don't post much here because Slurp & Olu do such a great job.

With that said...for the real longer term traders I posted a set up on Olu's thread that will work with the un-mentioned trading system...which will remain nameless.

Hi what is the stop loss you use for GBP/AUD please
It's been a challenging couple of weeks for trend traders! I haven't taken a trade using the system in almost two weeks.

I'm in on the NZD USD right now, not really a Trend yet, more of a range, but we had 2 good moves down and a bit of a pull back so I'm going for it!

I made +98 pips. I think the more traded currencies like E/U G/U or the CHF's would have made more movement.

Was called out to work this morning and therefore dont know what has happened. My audusd sell has gone live though...

The system doesnt allow for adding as it stands. Remember we start off with two 'lots' whatever that means to your trading size and after a set distance we take profits on one, move the stop loss on the other to b/e + 1 etc and let the other run.

The easiest deviation from the system is to let the two 'lots' run without taking profits.

the Average Trrue Range for this pair over 10 days is 270 so I would use 300 but look to move this lower at the earliest opportunity. This baby c
an push 300 pips in one day. Might be to exotic as Slurpee would say. I have traded this pair with 100pips s/l though because there was a nice candlestick structure that I stuck the s/l behind

This is enough for me. My problem with the chf pairs is that the SNB is opposing our sell trades and they would win hands down if they flex their muscles

I wish I took this one. I remember when you first highlighted it. I couldnt get a safe stop area withing my 'budget'. So it went off my radar. On looking back there were retracements that would have allowed me entry.

Anyway there will be another trade along some other time
