It looks like GBP-USD can be long again... Anyway, lately this pair and EUR-USD have been acting very weird because of the news and the interventions... So I'm not sure if I will take it... What do you think?

NZD/USD is up by 44 and EUR/GBP by 15 pips. Holding for the week ends as we still has the signal. Will see what happens.

Hey guys!

This system looks pretty awesome, more simpler than another system that I've been looking at "Trading Made Simple".

I'm going to start trying this one out, I love the idea of only looking at daily charts. There's so much less work and stress. And bigger PIPS!

Yes. They look nice. I will go short on EUR/GBP. To me they just crossed today.

Hi Guys,

I was two days away and tomorrow I am flying to Norway on a Holiday Ship (or what is it called - cruise around Norway and other northern countries) for one week, so I will not be around and I will not take any trades as well. I hope you do well and make a lot of pips!

BTW my USDCHF trade was closed by hitting the SL... +900 pips, what a great trade!
Live it or leave it!

Wish your trades go hyperspeed in your favour

Thanks for the tip Olu!

I agree that AUD/CAD is a buy. I remember Slurpee posting a rule about how the Stochs line can cross below the 60 level and then the price action of the candle can close above the MA in a few days or so.

I hope your trades go hyperspeed too!

Buy - price ends the day candle above the MA (always wait for the candle to close). The Stoch lines cross under the level 60 (the faster Stoch line crosses the slow from underneath) - this can happen one thing after another. So it is OK if the Stoch lines cross, the price is under the MA and then finishes another day above the MA - on the next day open I go long. Or the price is above the MA and then the Stoch lines cross... I think it is easy

I need some help with Exits. I'm currently in the second part of a trade. The price is below the MA and I'm on a sell. Currently it looks like the stoch is about to cross going up, but price will remain below the MA. Do I keep it alive or close out when the Stoch officially crosses?

mitchp, I have been following this thread for a few weeks and can say that according to Slurpee rules, you would exit when the stoch has crossed AND the stoch value is above 40.

Continuation of our deleted thread... I hope we all can learn something here

These are my rules:
4) Exits - there are three exit types:
a) the SL is hit (oh well, s*** happens)

b) the Stoch lines cross the opposite way than the entry is and then the fast Stoch goes under the 60 level (on longs) or above 40 level (on shorts).

c) the system says to open the opposite trade
(I am long and the system says go short and vice versa)...
Ignored
According to Slurpee's rules you stay in till the stoch behaves as above. I would have gotten out on the cross in the opposite direction but Slurpee's idea is that sometimes the stoch cross and uncross many times before price finally decides to retrace for real goving you the opportunity to milk the trade for all it is worth

Hi!!!!

I'm a bit lost with that too. I'm short on EUR-GBP and right now I think there is a buy signal again. Can you confirm that please? Because the stochs have crossed the opposite way and the price ended above EMA... So, it's c) the system says to open the opposite trade... Am I right? Well, I'm going to close the position because I think it's like that...

And I'm not going to open any new trade for this week as I go on holidays as well... I'll be back next week. Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks.

Patrix.

The leaset you can do is to close this trade. I actually believe this pair is going down longer term but the system says close

Also there seems to be a buy signal on the pair atm. So I will leave this one well alone. This pair goes up when the stock market goes up as it did today. I believe the stock market will turn mixed from here on and a short may thrive from here on.

But the short, according to the system is to be closed

In my opinion they are both 'real' more so the gbp one. The euro one is happening at a more overbought state. You are a day late on these ones and this can make a lot of difference to the outcome of the trade.

They can be taken if there is a substantial retracement, in my opinion
