The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) announced it has cancelled the license of retail OTC derivative issuer AGM Markets, due to unethical conduct and unmanaged conflicts of interest. The Australian financial watchdog has also launched civil proceedings against the broker.

After it conducted an investigation on the company’s activity, ASIC listed eight reasons to cancel the license of AGM Markets Pty Ltd, the Australian arm of the brokerage. The first of these is that the broker was providing financial advice for securities and superannuation interests when it did not have the appropriate license to do so.

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) added to more unregulated brokers to its warning list: Easy FX Trade and TradeBNP. According to the regulator, neither of them is authorized to provide financial services in the UK, but they are nonetheless targeting local investors.

The regulator exposed Easy FX Trade as a clone of the legitimate company Hantec Markets while the other broker, TradeBNP, falsely claims to have a license by the FCA.

I can clearly say Kontofx is a scam broker. I couldn't withdraw my money, they don't response my emails. I've been trying for two months but still, there is nothing. There is a lot of negative Kontofx review. Read the review and see why you should not trade with them!

Estonian forex brokerage BrighterTrade has recently been blacklisted by two financial watchdogs – the the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority (FMA).

New Zealand’s FMA has warned the public against doing business with BrighterTrade, as the latter is not regulated and could be involved in a scam. Less than week prior to FMA’s warning, the Australian financial watchdog, ASIC, has included the Igoten OU, also known as BrighterTrade, in its alert list of unlicensed companies.

According to the regulator, this broker has made unsolicited calls or sent emails about investing, financial advice, credit or loans and does not hold a current Australian Financial Services (AFS) license or an Australian Credit license from ASIC.
There are multiple complaints that the broker is scamming clients out of their investment.

What is more, according to the broker’s own terms and conditions, clients can only withdraw funds after reaching a certain, quite high, trading volume.

Bonuses came with certain terms and conditions however they are used to attract clients, one thing is sure that you need money to earn money and that can be done using your own funds rather than relying on bonuses which are subject to be removed at any time without notice.

You need to keep a check on certain things in order to find the scam broker.
1) Communication between broker and trader is most important above all. Real problems can begin to develop when communication between a trader and their broker begins to break down. If a trader does not receive responses from their broker or the broker provides vague answers to a trader's questions, these are common red flags. To provide the best and all time customer support is necessary.
2) Do an online search for reviews of the broker. Check whether there are more positive or negative feedbacks
3) Make sure there are no complaints about not being able to withdraw funds. If there are, contact the user if possible and ask them about their experience.
4) Make sure the broker does not charge high commission and provides you with the tightest spreads.
5) Evaluate your trades on regular basis. Keep a record of your account history and cross check with the one provided by the broker.

Basically bonuses work for brokers, not for you. You have to risk you own money if you expect to make money, remember there is no free cheese especially in forex trading.

Italy's financial markets regulator Commissione Nazionale per le Societa e la Borsa (CONSOB) has updated its warning list with unregulated forex brokers TorOption and FXBreeze. The regulator stated that they are not licensed to provide financial services in Italy and ordered them to cease providing unauthorized investment services and activities to the local investors.

What is more, both brokers have already been blacklisted by other EU financial regulators. Estonian forex and CFD broker FXBreezeis present in the warning list of the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority, and UK-based TorOption was flagged by the Financial Condust Authority of the UK.

The British regulator FCA just issued a warning against broker K2 Wall Street (K2WS) for operating in the country without a license and likely being a scammer.

“Some firms act without our authorisation and some knowingly run investment scams”, the FCA says in its warning. “K2 Wall Street is not authorised by us and is targeting people in the UK. Based upon information we hold, we believe it is carrying on regulated activities which require authorisation.”

The brokerage brand is owned and operated by K2 Wall Street Co Limited, which is not licensed by the FCA, nor by any other authority.

The situation was serious enough for the regulator to open a hotline for people who have been cold called by said company.
