hi emma how r u doing!
i lately started trying to get rid of extra indicators on my chart and just stick to default indicators from my platform. I remember you posted about using macd 2 13 7 to replicate tdi red green. i wonder how u get macd to show the green line.right now i only have histograms. I know the histograms basically tell the same thing as the green line, but just want to have a more visual way of reading the charts. thank you!

You can use MACD by mladen (see attached zip-file). The standard MACD MT4 doesn't support this.

I don't use them as turning points, they give me a good idea of whether a pair is moving sideways this week, like for example, of the pairs I look at, AJ, EJ and GJ haven't really left the weekly pivot they have been moving up and down around it, so if its a good enough signal I will take it both ways. you missed Davit's posts on how he trade ranging market conditions plus other stuff to support his selection of the currency pairs,
he cherry-pick the pairs that meets his personal trading style.
