Hi there,

Unfortunately, the owner of the thread is late - but left a good legacy for traders to follow. Leave all the distractions and focus on those that have been here the longest as they have more experience than the newer traders.

I just like the charts people post as that is where you can learn from, do not bother with all the mudsling's going on, just a waste of time and effort. Again focus on the charts only and read the comments on those charts, that is all you need.

All the best and more green pips to us all.

I do hope so. It has been like this for years before I joined FF.

This forum was created by BigE aka Eric and is about his Trading Made Simple method.

My suggestion is to read BigE’s posts before other posts. Then you will know Emmanuel7788 has been here for years harassing other members, shunning the actual TMS traders away.

There is no blaming here, but BigE’s TMS and the essence within have been devalued in order to promote other trading systems, EAs. Multiple members have told this person to open a new thread but in vein

Unfortunately the moderator ie BigE has left us.

I am sharing my progress with BigE’s TMS since 2021.

This thread is not a place the mental people to dump their emotional toxin.

There is no need to re-invent the wheel.

5-bar reversal pattern overlaps with TDI green cross red
But not all TDI green cross red come with 5-bar patterns

Follow the TDI with Price Action

Trading made simple is not trading made Complicated.

If "moderator " means "thread starter", then no, he has no role in controling anything here because he is dead. If it means "Forex Factory administrators", then they have the power to exert "control " over who posts and what is posted. However, they mostly take a "hands off" approach. Read the Trader Code of Conduct and read the words about If you can't work out problems with another member, use the Ignore feature.

LOL. No. Being here a long time doesn't automatically mean that the person has any WORTHWILE RESULTS to offer from his experience!

In addition, someone that is here a short time can be very bright and adept and trade circles around an "experienced old timer"

I really dont know which is better or if it makes much of a difference if both TDIs are used with the same settings.

BigE only considered HA candle body colours when trading Trading Made Simple. APB is a variation of HA candle with its candle close value more skewed to last candle’s OHLC. But in essence HA and APB candles have same color (a close above / below open).

do the same for every other timeframe you want to trade.

for example, if you trade M15... take a peek at H1 for setup conditions

If only considered the Price Action, ie the trend, in m30 price made recent lower highs and lower lows, indicated a downtrend. A SELL with stoploss placed at recent H would be reasonable.

if consider how close price was from previous Low and rejection, then one can BUY, but the decision should be a bit earlier than your entry. It could be a loss but with BigE’s way of closing (TDI, time, pullback exit), there was plenty of time to exit at BE or small profit

But including your entry, after TDI crosses price went in that direction. I saw you once was +15. Trade management should give you a better outcome
