{quote} Yes you are right, I'm actually curious maybe some other people are familiar with those kind of setups or chart reading,to be honest after you screen the 1 minute chart for about half an hour you really get an Idea to make profit from it, But I guess most of the traders have not tried it or yet they are always going with the higher timeframes and executing the ''planned trades, indicator crossovers, fibos whatever'' if you will. There is not much price action on the 4 hour chart, if you know what I mean.

@PixelSniper -- I'm not questioning in any way that you are not successful or claiming that all my reversal strategies turned out well. Reversal trading is compelling because, from a distance, Entries appear so obvious. However, the waterfalls (also called grinders) and head fakes can throw a wrench into the works.

The main idea is to hide our position in a place that markets will be kinda uncertain, and the price can wave into our favor to make some profit for us.
To be honest, I was not even aware It is reversal trading nor we called it like that ever. We call it going with the markets nature.
It's similar to setupping ambushes to your enemy.
And also really, having too many rules have not worked out really good for me, being flexible and adaptading is much better.
Lemme show you an example of setup 3,this is a bit riskier but often works. You must watch closely the price action wheter to do it or not.

The idea here is to sell the profit taking area of the dip buyers. You probably have noticed this happening often, literally on almost every market.
This is a bit riskier setup and it is not my own setup or approach, but I'm also learning about it. It's simply going by the markets nature and markets regular posibble waves that can happen. In this type of setup you take profits without waiting to reach the other side of the band, because obviously it is a bit riskier, and it is designed to land a quick scalp, position size can also be lowered by 30-40% than the regular setups.
I know this all sounds nasty and unregular but yeah...

I've made some money, but not really going ham or trading all day long. I've been busy with stuff yes.. the stuff you can imagine. I don't think my mind and body is too clear to scalp all day yet. Planning to start in a month or two perhaps.

{quote} Just to continue the discussion... On one hand you say no rules. But on the other hand, in this brief exchange, we've identified two rules: 1. Wait for price to poke its nose above / below BB band. 2. Exit at large candle, or predetermined profit, or stop loss. To me that sounds awfully like a strategy -- in fact, reversal trading. Why are you hesitant to refer to it as reversal trading? I mean, instinctive or speculative certainly sounds more sexy, but the way you're following PA looks really familiar to me. Maybe because I'm a developer...

In the past, in the context of TMS, @emmanuel7788 has mentioned Synergy-APB -- but I don't know if he uses it in his personal trading. I suspect he uses a more robust methodology that may or may not include Synergy-APB. However, I do like and use Synergy-APB -- it's one of my favorites.

@DrDick/@ivan9578/@DrDick -- maybe it's because there is no such thing as "hooves". I suppose "hooves" means more than one "hoove", but what is a "hoove"? Did you mean "hives"? Do you have hives? If so, that is even more reason I don't want you anywhere near me.

Do you only trade XAUUSD now? I don't see other symbols on your platform.

And yup, range can be your friend, you just need to know when to stop, or where to be stopped out on the breakout.
Todays Dow Jones chart's a good example of a nice ranging session to trade.

Does anyone have a Fibonacci pivot
Daily, weekly, and monthly
On-off Button Indicator
Like our M candle indicator.
Daily Pivot should not count Sunday candle.

with one click we can see the weekly pivot and we can hide it. as well as other pivots too.

Thanks In advance.

I just use the platform' provided RSI(14) with a optional MA added to RSI data and use its 50-level.
No need Overbought / Oversold levels.
No need the old TDI stuff anymore.

Simply look at the Price and Price Action, + with HA candles with 5EMA, Typical Price. Use dynamic support and resistance 10EMA,50EMA and 200EMA, + PPA previous price action swing highs / swing lows, + price Big Round Numbers and Round Number.

Use Money Management strategies for different Market Type conditions.

Taking clean trades would be a breeze.
