Trading Made Simple

Started a new week with a GBP/JPY trade. Did a lot of back test during last days, so trying to find my way on trading H1 charts. Read all posts of Phx62 also on this thread. First mistake in this treade is my late enter. I have missed another 5-10 pips because of late enter. And second is that only 1 pip price didn't go to hit my TP 40 pips. It's night my time, so when i wake up there was only +19 pips and i decided to close it before London Open. So that's a start of a week, not so bad for me, but it could be even better Waiting for LO now.

EURNZD week19 H4:

Now watching closely how this will develop this week and into next week.
It is counter trend to last week's strong move down.
Better to let price develop in a consolidation and see how the TDI PL and TSL will move above the MBL.
There is a huge Weekly Master Candle.
watch out 1.6200 BRN.

The crossovers of PA over the GMMA long seem to correlate quite well with the green line over MBS on the TDI.

Though when the Guppy is very wide its less probable that PA will break it. Breaks tend to come when the Guppy is narrow and constricted. Not always though. Not sure the Guppy quite works the same way with Forex, as it does with stocks.
Bear in mind its UK bank holiday today folks, so London will be quiet

No 6am trades for me. Every decent setup seems to be in consolidation on H4... Gold had a risky bounce, a bit tight near previous resistance, but I missed it.
Apart from a weak AUDNZD and CADCHF I don't see any 10am setup, either. I hate Mondays

TMS can be traded on EOD basis in the same way many stock traders trade their respsective stock exchanges. Just spend some time to do some research , simply Google 'End Of Day Trading' ... you will find some good online resources to read up. In a few months time, I will be sharing on how you can trade once a day using TMS and using just the H1 chart with a big picture view of the market. I was thinking the same thing. This is my 3rd week of first month trading TMS. I saw this and traded it. Still on a 'test phase.' Monday's are usually slow.... Hope Tuesday will bring more opportunities for London Strat.


10AM Trades: None. I was taking a nap and woke up at 11AM... Missed nothing, no possible trades during this time :/
Trade on this pair still very much alive. In fact, P/O was nearly triggered when it shot up last friday when I encountered internet connection problems. Still bullish on this pair (posted a day chart recently)

I was backtesting GA on Daily as most of my trades will be daily now. This is what I found, Feel free to comment.

1. GA Daily is in a very strong BN 1.82000 and 1.82987 resistance zone.
2. PA broke this zone in bearish trend back on 05-10-2009 and since than tried 6 times to break it in bullish trend and failed every single time including last 22-12-2013 attempt
3. Once PA broke below the above mentioned zone ( which was support at that time) on 05-10-2009 its been floating below this zone ever since.
4. Now after several attempts to penetrate this zone and BN resistance PA is back to where it was back in October 2009.

Will PA be able to break it or will history repeat itself ?

Check GA ADR and trade accordingly...

Below are charts breaking the number of pips PA delivered in 2009 -2010 when it failed to go past this zone. I hope it will help us to make our entry and exit decisions.

Looking at the weekly chart, you will notice +ve divergence and also a TDI cross, price is also above the ema. I am biased bullish £ and as a matter of fact I already have 2 long positions on this pair. I am long G/U and G/Cad as well

There is Master Candle (WRB) on H4 with supply so I'm looking for a more immediate, short term bearish setup
That could change though. We have UK Services PMI tomorrow.

(though I admit it all looks rather bullish with regards the Weekly but the entry point was two weeks ago).
