i'm just watching the charts at present.
ok then...here i am,posting charts after quite a long time...i found it necessary to post charts and explain my thinking cos a few people got it wrong today...

one of the trades taken by others which surprised me a lot was when people went short on GU...that to me, was a stunner....right from yesterday i have been sayiong that GU is having strength....attached is the daily chart, 4H chart and 15M chart....

look at the daily for the past 2 days...price going down and coming back for 2 consecutive trades...almost a double bottom...almost 2 successive pin bars...very clear that the direction is up...

next ...look at the 4H charts for GU....last 12-15 bars....all trying to break 1.63 but immediately jumping back above...either on the same bar or the very next bar....that is more than enough confirmation for me...

next...look at the 15M for GU...right from yesterday...at around 12 noon on the charts....price went down, volume MA rose....then a ranging period when price went nowhere and volume went down a little....then price went down again but lessening volume....again, showing that downside is of no interest...as i said, it is more a clearing of orders...

and the result of last 2 days of activity is the big upmove today....when u see so much strength, why would u want to short it?

I'm studying them and can see know why I am behind game!

keep studying charts...spend as much time as u can...1000s of hrs and hrs and hrs.....the more u see it, the more u get used to it....long time back, i wrote an article comparing trading and car driving....when u learn car driving, there are somany things for u to learn...gear, brake, clutch, indicators, fuel tank etc etc...so many things need to be taken care of....and u r overwhelmed at the beginning...but slowly u learn...and after u become good, u start doing things for driving even without thinking...everything happens sub consciously....u use the accelerator, brake, cluth gear etc as and when required even without thinking abt it...

same with trading...indicators, price action, volume, 15M charts, daily charts etc are so overwhelming at the beginning, once u get used to it, u simply see and do things automatically without u realising it....

One thing... seeing charts seems to be one thing, interpreting them something else your experience shines through

u more u se charts, u more u start seeing patterns...by seeing patterns and their effect, u get used to it.....if u see the same pattern 10 times and the same effect 9-10 times, 11th time, when u see the same pattern, u can assume the same effect will be there and then take the trade....with SLs of course...
NSK do you have any thought on the use of market facilitation index or is it an indi to far!!!

green MFI up volume up =more traders entering market market speeds up
brown MFI down volume downd - fade loss of interest
Blue MFI up volume down = fake price manipulaton by big players
Pink MFI down volume up = End of trends many buyer seller but no trend - good entry... apparently

Outstanding thanks really clear and many thanks to the originator also.
Good morning volume traders, hope everything's fine for all of you.
Speaking about eu, seems to me that we having rising volume with falling price on support area (4170/4200), might be a sign of reversal but the main trend especially in the higher tf seems definitively bearish... I'm a bit confused, follow the trend or trying the reversal...?
Maybe Karthik could shows up with one of his wonderful hint?
