Hello My Friends!
This thread about any ideas and methods how to predict price movement for short while in the future. We need buy or sell. We get hole body of the day candle in pips.
Main ideas:
1. Based on the previous price action (or history of the price).
2. Based on extra senses of some people who can purely predict the price move.
If some body has any ideas - You are welcome.
I will try to dig dipper in each section of ideas later on.

Your one chart shows these boxes. Other types:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.

For short term traders, being right more than 50% of the time me personally is the only way you can make money.. but long term trader, you can let the winners run...

You cannot compare retail traders and big traders such as Soros. Totally different liquidity issues!

I wanna refer this post to one Russian web site with some interview with local traders.

If you take a look at interview with the name "Интервью с Николаем Солабуто"
you will find many good ideas about extra sensors methodology how to predict price move to the near future. And how to get train yourself.
One of the method that he reveals says that you should remember the price of your preferred pair every hour and remember body position (like: you siting or staying at window or some another memorable body position). You will get synchronizing your life withe the market movement. You how to do it during few days to predict price movement for one day ahead. But as he says this is hard for most people to wake up every hour for few days.
Another method is draw the candles on paper, preferred small time frame. In this case you will get feeling the price and again synchronize yourself with market. As he said it is impossible to get feel the price from the screen monitor only real picture help you.
May be you know some other methods or have some books related this idea.
This forum is big enough to find some traders who have some experience in this way of trading.
Let's join us and share your knowledge. May be we will find some people who has successfully implement this idea. And I am sure this thread could inspired some traders get them money from the market using your own sens.

The trader seems to be following a long history of mysticism and study of the paranormal in Russia.

The ideas about moving one's body position according to the current price, and of drawing candles on paper, are okay ideas. They may help speed the 10,000 hours (oft quoted as necessary to learn to trade) of experience interacting with as one watches a live chart.

The ideas are certainly no replacement for hours of market study: After studying the chart rationally for a while, it seems I have to get the feel of at least some of the prices on the screen.

The market is far too complicated or random for more than this.

I think your time is better spent by trying to apply statistical methods on price and find patterns that can be exploited.

The market moves in patterns. R:R is the way to be profitable with most any system. There is a break even point depending on win % and R:R that as long as you can win above that % then your account curve will be positive
