That's tallinex right? Are u using Fibs instead of Daily pivots? I didn't get signal on my tallinex account cause I was using Daily pivots and no lower pivot failure was detected. In addition if I had seen that formation I would of closed it right away... it don't look right

I use Fibs. I didn't see the opening of the trade, that's the problem with sleeping. Also I am thinking that the NoLag indi is not what we want so I am going to no trend setting.

Here are today's trade. Note that I have not use the BE feature yet. 4 trades are still running, one trade GBPJPY hit stop loss earlier this afternoon my time.

I notice that you are trading the H1 TF. Btw that's not the way the EA applies the zeroLag indicator. The zeroLag indicator is transposed onto the current TF from the H4 TF (if H4 or greater then I apply zeroLag to D1). I am going to take another look and see if for the H1 I need the zeroLag to be at the higher TF, instead of H4. This may be what it needs in order to get a better reading of trend direction.

One more thing. The real intent of the zeroLag is to provide a mechanism by where the EA can pick up trades earlier when a change in direction is noticed. So TP is still dependent on whatever u set or on your choice.

This is what I mean, if at any instant you SAW overall profit.... CLOSE THE TRADES and MT4!! LOL.
This is just an example of intervention. You let the Ea do it's thing. You take a peak. You see u are in profit... BOOM... CLOSE everything... done of the day or week or depending on your profit target.

I closed EURUSD (finally interventing lol) coz market seems ranging to me on H4 TF and the rest are still running.

You said to John that "if H4 or greater then I apply zeroLag to D1" what does that mean? Maybe I have not yet applied the EA correctly.

Also, I see a trailing stop option on 3C EA, is there any differences with the trailing stop option that is originally provided on the MT4? because I am also thinking of putting a trailing stop when the trade is up by 30 or 50 pips. I would be great if there is an option where after a trade reach at certain pip then a trailing stop is activated.

That means that I am going to look into the code to possible make an adjustment. Right now if you are dealing with any time frame below H4 the zeroLag is applied to the H4 TF. I may be changing that to anything under the H1 TF. And have the H1 Tf deal with the trend of D1.

that is pretty much what that input on 3C does. You specify the PIP distance. So for each trade you have opened, once it is in profit, the EA will place and move the STOPLOSS x number of pips below or above the trade as it continues in the direction of profit.

First of all kudos for all the work you have been doing on the indicator/EA. I have read about 75% of this whole thread and am going to jump in on this experiment! A few weeks ago you had posted a file with settings that you are using on the 3C indicator. Would you mind doing so again with your current setup? Also, could you tell me what I could possibly have done wrong with my arrows not showing up when I have the indicator loaded on a chart? It is not giving me a message saying that I am missing any indicators so I am not sure where I could be messing up.

Thanks in advance for any insights and again for all the hard work you have put in!

Welcome seekpips:

I have not changed the input settings so those files are still valid. The only thing that is different with the inputs is that now there is a MagicNum input and I just use the default. So those set files are still valid.

Just in case go to http://xm7.info/ea/freebie and re-download the files and place them in their appropriate folders
Next if you still have problems look at the the Journal and Experts Tabs. See if there are any error messages.
Also check that Allow DLL and all that stuff is set

It's something simple. The other nite Superpmf had a similar problem and all she did was set something in the options... I forget what it was... real simple solution. Just got over as much as you can.

Jess, I placed the new version of 3C on the USDCAD chart and it closed the trade I entered yesterday. The same happened with NZDUSD. The comment section of the terminal says nothing and the SL is at 500.

Both of the trades had this same error. The settings were all the same with all pairs. The other pairs are doing alright.
Third trade with error. I am closing this ea and going back to a prior version.

Thank you for the explanation. Knowing that the zeroLag is applied to the H4 TF then I should be testing it on lower time frame instead.

For that trailing stop feature, should I choose the SL_Range option?

Will:

The input UseTrailingStop has 3 options:
NoTrail
SL_Range - this option will set the Trailing Step to the initial stoploss pip value
Fixed - this option will set the Trailing Step to the value the is on the TrailingStep input

Done for the week:
I reached about 11% (the image shows 12% but price was moving fast) on the OAnda Live account.
Before I captured the image the account was actually up by as much as 17% at one point.
So when I returned and saw a 5% fall decide to call it a week.

As you can see I still have a long way to go before I get this account back to it's original balance. 3 weeks of strait profit, gives me the confidence that the goal will be reached and surpassed.

I also closed all the other demos accounts, they too where all in profit. I'll report on those later.

So now I am back in programmer mode LOL. Well I forgot to mention, no cell phone at the moment, so I can't use my thumbs to program LOL.

Great news about hitting a profit goal. I'm looking at Thursday to get at least 10%. The losses from last night have been covered. For me, mornings are the best times to trade so I did well this morning.
Hi,

First and again, I'm thankful for both EAs. I've seen great progress over the last several versions I've been using.
That being said, I've also seen less and less trades and the past several days I've seen mostly losers, admittedly small ones but nearly no profit and two trades had hit full SL.
It led me to think that I might have the wrong settings somehow, I'm trading the M30 charts, 50 SL with 36 TS and using the zerolg for trend.
I'm not at home so this is from the top of my head.
Also, the BOLOSO, I think, is using the same trade comment as the 3C.

IF any of you can post some set files, preferred pairs, although from what I've seen the EAs trade all pair without discrimination what so ever. Anything that might help me test this EAs better, would be great.
