Does somebody know if somewhere exist a stand-alone application (or sort of) that displays the FF calendar and has configurable alerts?

I know there are some news indicators here on this forum, but I don't want to put other things on my charts.

Hello Jagui....I had the same question when I first started trading FX so I have indeed built my own app for such notification. You can select your own events and receive email/ SMS notification for free 10mins ahead of the event and at the actual release. You will also get an email for next day's event from midnight.
