Yet the price move was very strong making me tighten the stop in case we have a runaway eurgbp train

Thanks for the chart Golfer. Gold and Silver did loose their shine. They wrong-footed a lot of traders who were looking for a breakout to the upside. That line is so important. If it goes below the line the fall will be massive. But I guess the line will be well defended...

March Orange Juice

The bearish CRB issue I wrote about is getting to me. It made me scan the commodities looking for weakness. Orange juice and Feeder Cattle imho are good candidates. As can be seen from the chart we had a strong downmove and an almost equally strong upmove that seems to have ended at 61.8% of the downmove. We might be at the start of a strong downmove. I love symmetry i.e downmove -->Upmove then strong and equal downmove.

Hi Olu, Maybe we are looking at a nice AB-CD pattern. I so, should be a very strong down leg coming up.

Good thing I tightened the stop. It was swept away like it wasn't there. The trend in this pair is clearly up.

End Of QE?

The minutes or the fed meeting revealed a discussion to move away from linking the continuation of QE to the improvement of employment figures. In short QE could finish a lot earlier than than thought. If no extra clarification is given to negate this statement or to water it down the matket is qualified to start to price it in. This will mean strength for the $ and weakness for almost all the other asset classes like commodities, stocks and bonds.
