I just came across FXPRIMUS and it sounds very promising. They offer true ECN accounts for Metatrader 4 and also offer a secure trust account, so that the customers money is fully segregated from the companies accounts.

Demo account looks good so far with EURUSD from 0.1 to 4 pips, with an average of 0.7/0.8 Pips and USDJPY from 0.0 pips to 4.0 pip with an average of 0.7-0.8 pips, too. Even with a $8/$10 per lot, it's cheaper than a fixed 2 pips spread in EURUSD, which I trade most of the time.

Leverage / Margin offered up to 1:500.

Anyone ever tried this broker in live account? Seems not to be well known so far... would like to have some feedback before I open an account. Thanks!

If someone have doubts - just open their live spread on ECN and some other brokers (not MMs) and watch spreads on market open. You will be reallt positive supriced.

$10 USD per 100K round turn is pretty high for ECN commissions, they better now slip with those charges!

Ignored
Agree - comission is 2-3usd too high. But just spreads + slippage on open makes it even with best ECNs. Slippage on SL or close and execution make Primus better. Now thats fact. I cannot say how it will be in future.
Im just saying thats there is no better broker for ppl trading with buy/sell stops. And for ppl who care about spreads on close/open and dead market hours.

But anyway commission is too high - but its taken just once for ppl from brokers taken for open and close like on stocks

Few more important facts about FxPrimus

First for initial depostit You get 100% more from 500USD to 10 000USD but You have to make volume to get it after 90days.

Its 167lots per 1k usd for ECN account and 200lots for other lost.

More for new clients:

SMS alert with signals for 2k USD + initial deposit. Alerts gave 41% on last 90days and its like few per month so its not hard work to follow it.

Here is last 90days history: LINK

Last for me really interesting thing for new traders is 1-on-1 Coaching with traders as Coatches. Its 60day free for every trader without limits. And they teach trading not MT4 - that does support.

So well I think its worth to think about offer.

Here is link to FxPrimus

I'm trading with FXPrimus too. I like their educational approach (love their daily market report!) and their SMS trade alert.

I must say they have the best social media team, constantly updating their Facebook and Twitter pages. So I'm pretty confident trading with them.

But apart from that, I'm far from being experienced as a trader. Hope all the sifu here will help

Well, this message awaited me in my MT4 when I opened it today:

"Stop loss & freeze level or "imminent distance level" on the Eur/Usd currency pair for our ECN Premier spread have been updated. The levels have been updated to Stop Loss: 3 pips and Freeze Level: 2.5 pips. Please note that the Fixed & Variable Spreads remain the same and this only affects the Eur/Usd currency pair."

I used to be able to place SL 2 pips from the current price, this is not good news as I use a tight trailing stop to squeeze all out of winning trades. Looks like I'll be looking for another broker, the execution time has gone worse recently ( approaching ~1.5s these days ) and the 1pip commission on ECN isn't very competitive either. It was good while it lasted.
