Interesting thread. Too bad I didn't find it earlier than I did, in regards to my Gann journey. I just took a four month break in trading. Too much going on in my life, outside of trading. Here's a chart, in regards to fib time zones, which I call a criss-cross-crash. It's where you take a swing high and connect it with a swing low. Then take a swing low and connect it with a swing high, in regards with fib time zones. And with both connections, which is the end of January, 2014, which looks like a good time for "change." And notice the next time for change, which is pretty close to the present. Then where the two fib time zone connections cross at, where the two red lines intersect at, then you draw a horizontal line through the X, which is a potential target for taking profit, with a "short."

btw i saw only one logic works in trading that is Fibonacci retrace and golden ratio , the is when 4h Fibonacci retrace reach at 38.2% just flip a coin and place buy or sell ... 10 pips in pocket

Time is more important than price (WDGANN) he has more experience and devoted his life to trading the markets.

My view is time is critical between success and failure not just in trading, but life. If your late for an interview your not getting the job 9/10 and if your in at the wrong time with a trade yo've already lost.

Through my own anaylsis time does play a role from sessions and daily to monthly bars. I use EW extensivley and it works about 75% of the time the alternation and wave equality time.

They are certain dates of the month and months of the year we expect new pivots to be formed usually +/- 3 days, months, years. I use Moon phases and it works for me price seems to accelerate going into the new moon completing a monthly pattern +/- 3 days sometimes 4 if a holiday is in it or a weekend.

Read Ganns Master time factor he has specific dates. I also use seasonailty comparing previous years data and see connections to this years movement sometimes they are incredibly identical this is on the cable pair dont know about others.

In my view if you can master time and risk management you've succeeded in trading.

I found a good approximation for the Advanced Get "MOB" and "Ellipse" that I am coding for MT4 as a side project...



It's just a question of using the correct pivots, Fib time extension, Fib Price retracement and fib Price extension.

For example here is the MOB on the same chart:



There are some nuances in the AGET tools that I am still figuring out, feel free to comment if you have some insights.
