Haven't seen this FXPro/MT4 error before

Just closed and then went to reopen an instance of FxPro demo MT4 and got the following error - it wont open at all now ??

Any ideas appreciated

What did you do last when you closed and then re-opened? Why close in first place? Could be a dll etc you installed last.

Did you install any new indicators? I think this can happen if you use some indicators that were compiled with an older version of MT4.

I had the same before with FxPro Meta trader...
Disable/delete the last installed EA and should be fixed

When such an error occurs the following simple actions should resolve the issue:

- Fresh new install of the Client Terminal on a path outside Crogram Files (e.g. C:MetaTrader)

· - Test the Client Terminal and custom add-ons (e.g. Expert Advisors) on another pc/laptop.

- When starting the application to chose: Run as Administrator (if option is available)

thx guys .. i wish i knew which indicator was the culprit but im afraid i hadnt installed any new ones .. maybe i did but i have the platforms open for days before i close them so i cant be sure.

I havent rebooted PC either since then so havent tested whether that would fix - i dont want to re-install this terminal because it has a bunch of my saved charts etc ...

thx anyway

Browse to your metatrader folder and then into experts/indicators using Windows Explorer. Click on "Date Modified" to list the files in order of last installed or changed. Do the same for libraries folder. It should give a clue as to what was changed last....
