I'd get bullish only on closing daily bar above 1.2180

Good day traders. AUD/NZD shorts are active now. TP1 is not very big though: 1,2061.

New daily AUD/NZD low - thanks! After 1,2061 will be moving SL to b/e and leave the trade open to see if we'll manage breaking the zone.

Longer term view, Expecting AUDNZD to reach 1.25, expecting some RBNZ to come out to talk down NZD strength.

Spreads were higher for a bit with my broker too. It was probably because liquidity was low between markets being open, combined with China being on bank holiday today.

I'm long here, daily chart looks like it wants to make a U-turn. Heiken ashi looks like it wants to turn green, various indicators turning bullish on daily TF, price near daily channel low. Stop loss @ 1.2045, TP 1.2400+. Depending on how things shape up today/tomorrow, I'll have a better idea on whether to stay in or scratch the trade. Planning on staying in as long as the daily candle does not close near its low. If we get another push lower I'll exit, but look to possibly re-enter.

nah dude... pepperstone is a 5 digit broker... when it says 104 it just means 10.4 pip spread....

theres nothing in the world with 104 pip spread... thats insane....

Pepperstone is a 5 digit broker meaning the last digit is a fractional pip.

Calling it a week guys. Four orders this week. Two profitable calls with 161 pips & two losses with 70 pips all together. Money management helped, and I am ending this week with 91 pips profit. Wish you a good and relaxing weekend!

A lot of figures next few days coupled with increased volatility.. might be an opportunity to enter progressively or add a position at these levels.

I see medium term reversal here. Any comments? Reserve bank of NZ is angry on NZD and said today that it is overvalued if you look at historic prices NZD is diverged from average like it did 15 years ago and when it did such divergence from average always reversed. Only thing that still makes me feel that long term reversal mightn't be ahead is that NZD economy is too good, but this too good may appear to be too good to be true because public indebtedness is very high in comparison to disposable income which is very risky in long term especially for investors who have deadly experiences from housing. So I think that we are close to reversal but it might be medium term reversal on daily charts especially for AUDNZD and NZDJPY.
kiss the trend

I'd like to see so many of those daily highs taken out 1.2160~ish (the spike high, and the left of it), could be a massive surge to 1.29 if it spikes through there (on a monthly chart, see October 2011's range [you've had a hammer this time on monthly, and weekly was SO close to a key reversal, it wasn't a key reversal* by 1 minute over the weekend if you include the weekend gap up today Monday the 3rd of June 2013]).

*key reversal is, in my view, the best bar/candle signal

NZD advanced 8.03% against AUD and 10% against JPY, both major trade partners.
