Some more analysis, current S&P500: Not a good day for trading today. Narrow range, low odds plays, usually in balance days the moves are sudden and "spiky" so difficult to get in at the turns. NY session contained inside London session, it seems there is no big players participation today. The overnight high was not broken so far, and price found support at the important resistance (R became S). If you were able to identify those edges perhaps could have taken a couple of aggressive trades. Even though we can see supply hitting the market, it is still going up, trying to short long term is like trying to pick a top. The high odds short will come when sellers prove themselves strongly and we see a change of behavior. Since we are inside the top quarter region of a daily swing, price is considered at a premium and the odds are high for shorts, so I would look out for good shorting setups with weakness in the background.
