Nice 15 min first touch of 35/50. Shorted for +22. Any feedback is welcome. {image}

it was a nice profit, but keep in mind that below we had a 35/50 touch on the H1 timeframe, so it was playing against the higher TF. that can sometimes make problems.
I know that you and I know nothing.

Good afternoon from Vietnam!
I am new to the market and learning the Dance as the first strategy to stick with. Still scrolling through all pages of the threads and it seems like it is doing really well until today. I wonder that after that long time was there any changes in applying the Dance to the market and which pairs/time you guys trading and how are you doing with it.
Hope to get some positive feedback as direction for me to keep learning this strategy.
Many thanks <3

I don't live in USA but I think he is better than the previous 2 or 3 presidents. At least he didn't do any war...and he is not the beloved boy of any masonic group.

I'm currently diving into doing some Data Science on this strategy...

Did someone else do that before? Like checking which timeframe, MAs, SL, TP, touches etc. have the best results?

I wanted to basically test all Timeframes from M1 to M30 and SMA/EMA from 10 to 100 each. Every combination of course for many pairs... Might take some time to only calculate all those data points
It's never too late to make a bad trade!

Morning.
Nope, never did it that kind.
After a couple weeks dancing in my beginning,
I limited the trading hours to my trading times and had a quick backtest what happens most of the time during that time.

I never wanted to know what happens on US close or during asian session.
Then I started forward testing and I saw a often replayed scenario around the first 2 hours of european and US open.
That was mainly what I was trading with best results for me.

Stay tuned
Guido

Here is a classic bounce from a confluence of M15 35/50, H1 10, RN.
To newbies, if you master just this kind of trade with GU or EU or EJ you can do great...

And now around 13:00 GMT we are bouncing from H4 35/50, Daily 10, RN (GU).
So it could give a good long signal. Usually, these happen around news or after a double bottom appearing at the M15 TF.
H4 is not my preferred TF, probably don't have enough patience, but when the signals work they are fast and furious....

Hey long time since I've posted on FF.
I have been looking into other strategies, while trading this on the side. But I have to admit that this strategy is the best, one just needs patience which i'm working on.

Here is a trade I took today on USDCHF before and now.
Reason for trade: MA touch + Fib 61,8 and resistance, which is still running (i'm scaling out gradually after +11 pips, +18 pips and +30) with a SL of 11

{quote} Hi Atif58. Basicly you are 100% correct and it touched the first time. BUT Look at the Pa before. It almost touched before and showed a reaction. I guess it takes the round number and overshoots it a bit, what is the behaviour of this pair. Itīs never easy. {image}

Waiting to BUY at the Blue Circle.
That would be a H1 10 EMA Setup.
M15 35/50 is close, also Daily R1.
We'll see.

Should be OK, my concern is that the M15 is developing like a double top so it may become a scoop-down. Let's see how it develops, I am also watching this one.

That is true, after things calmed down after London Close, I let the order be triggered since the scoop-down on the M15 was not that strong. Since all HTF (Except Monthly) are in up-trend, I think is safe to trade this H1 10 EMA even it's not the best time (London is already closed).

I already moved to BE+1, we'll see.

Happy trading.

Second image is my yesterday's trade in GOLD which was taken after a double top formed in H4 in confluence with 35/50. I took + 245 pips

I've had a quick look at this system previously and am attracted by the fact that it's still going after all this time, which would imply that it works.

I'm happy to put the hours in and read through nearly 800 pages of posts if I'm going to end up with valuable knowledge but I've got plenty of other stuff on my 'to do' list if it's not going to be worth my time.

What I'm looking for is some feedback from traders who are using the system - does it work consistently? Are there people on here who use this system and nothing else making money?

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you are trying to imply. I use FF for the economic calendar mainly and thought these forums were for discussing the relative merits of different systems.
