Hi Mick, like you I started full-time trading forex in October 09 after trading stocks on a part-time basis for a couple of years and I'm having a ball taking 2 strides forward and one back - so making headway I guess - really looking forward to watching your progress. I have read all the Jacko posts and will look into his style in depth but am happy just now using 8, 20 and 50 ema's with stochastics on the 5 and 15 min charts as I have done with common stock - I find it scary going to the longer timeframes as the draw-downs can build up very quickly - anyway, best of luck and thanks for starting such an interesting thread where people like me can learn.

I studied Jacko system last autumn and applied it in my trading plan since then. But I got big loss last December when EURUSD began to fall. I am curious about why you started to short E/U from 1.4900 if you strictly follow Jacko system. How did you determine that the trend had reversed on Dec.4?

And how effective have you found the anti hedge method .

Hi Mick - and thank you for this very interesting journal. As you are trading Jacko's system I take it that you are using trailing stops and just letting your trades be stopped out by the TS. Is that correct?

In that case I'm also assuming that you are using different sized Trailing Stops for your short term and long term trades? Are you able to share that with us without violating any of Jacko's private group info?

Bollocks. Picked the wrong pair. I should have picked the EUR/USD pair, and I would have been +135 pips x 2.

Almost 100% with the trend, because I trade more pairs and more often than Wayne.
Jacko's Anti Hedge strategy is one of the best strategy in the forextraders box of tools. I am using it all the time. It is brilliant

Daily and weekly appear to be in a strong uptrend...
