Reputable NDD MT4 Brokers w/ Hedging that Accept US Residents

Ive done some research on the subject matter and have found a few that might be acceptable for my criteria: must be a no dealing desk broker (NDD + ECN + STP or NDD + STP) that allows hedging and accepts US residents with min acct no more than 10K. Im looking for some input about other brokers that arent mentioned as well as comments by other users on the brokers listed below who traded live accounts with them (please no demo account reviews).

- FXpro seems to be a popular choice but unfortunately they no longer accept US residents.
- Alpari is also good but their NDD MT4 min account is $20K with minimum trade size 3 lot (300K)
- FXCM UK has too bad of a rap sheet so Im not really keen on finding out for myself at this moment, and ATC, as well as, DBFX both affiliated with FXCM (ATC was purchased by FXCM I think). Does anybody have a current state of ATC experience?
- MBTrading is very nice but unfortunately no hedging.

Possible Choices (please share reviews):

- FXOpen
- CMS UK
- Dukascopy - MT4 beta testing almost done
- ACM

Any other good suggestions and also which one of the above mentioned are the better ones based on cost, execution and overall experiences?

I recommend FXCM UK Trading Station. Most of the bad reviews are based on the MT4 platform.

Wrong. FXCM has had bad reviews for as long as I can remember way before they introduced MT4. You'll never make money with this broker.

Then maybe you can explain to everyone why they have more accounts than any other firm?

I tried their MT4 and did not like it. I already have a MT4 account with another firm, and their fixed spreads are tighter than those at FXCM UK. Also recent pro reviews greatly recommend Trading Station over MT4. I like it, use it frequently, and have had no problems other than some log in difficulty a few times.

I think FXCM Active Trader could be good. I'm opening an Active Trader account this week... I'll update in a few weeks.

BTW I'm extremely satisfied of FxPro (no more us residents), and also was satisfied of ActiveTraders (interbank account).
Also never had a single problem with GAIN, but I left them because of high spreads.
I don't like ODL, everytime I look at their charts I manage to find some little spike not present in other feeds.

I urge everybody to read the book "Beat the forex dealer" by Augustin Silvani => you'll then be able to profit with every decent market maker.

Hey, Dukascopy MT4 demo? Has anyone tried it?

The spreads are tight, the commission is livable with. Bin usung the demo a week or so.

Is this the only broker offering MT4 with commission and low spreads?

Any thoughts?

From what I understand it appears that the main reason you would like to open an account offshore is to bypass hedging restrictions? Personally, I've never concerned myself with hedging positions for if I feel the trend is set to go against me, I would just close out and go short. Period.

IF you want to hedge a short-term movement, have you considered using options for that?

I used to use London Capital, but not sure what their minimums are. I think 20k for their Currenex (Fxtrades) platform. Commissions were acceptable at $16 per mm.

However, I no longer use them and use Interactive Brokers as I can trade more instruments from one platform. Ther offer access to the CME where you can trade FX futures/options and they do have spot FX as well. Spreads are pretty tight and liquidity looks good. As far as I'm aware, they don't take positions against you but pass them through to the market. I could be wrong as I've never delved deep into it as I don't trade spot any longer. In my opinion, their biggest downfall is their commissions, which if I recall correctly, are around $25 per mm. Also, I think you need $10k to open an account, but not positive as it's been a while since I opened an account with them. Plus is that they are reputable.
