Yesterday, well after Dax's close, Nasdaq suddenly went up more than 175 pts.......so this morning in its first hour Dax went up ~ 105 pts.

That was sufficent for me and I went out to enjoy the rest of my morning.

Note how Dax then went sideways in a narrow - untradable - range for more than 100 mins....what a surprise

DAX done well following US indices, with a little delay to make sure we are awake and would not missed it by being asleep.

So the Day's Open level was a great Lower High entry for a 150+ pts fall to the confluence of the 50 SS, 0.25% band & the 300 / 1.00% band

Then sell again on the Pull Backs to the Red MA

A very profitable 2 hours

I finished my day after half an hour's trading

The Failure to reach up to the 14,800 BRN & then down to the 14,500 BRN were the golden alerts

I finished my week before the Day started. Crazy moves.
In Asia now so I started trading the early US morning.

Bank problems make market become Vola.

After volatility comes a lack of it....

Today first half hour almost got up to Friday's High and the next BRN

Buy the HLs and then any Pull Backs to the MA...... then after a Lower High do the reverse

Note how it took ~50 mins for Dax to make a new high, only 10 pts above its earlier spike up....a sign of weakness...Sell there or on the turn of the MA

Also note how price was held at the very tight 0.20% band (envelope)

This is my page for pre XO analysis. I just maximise each chart starting with M60

I also keep a note of the Average Daily Ranges as shown in blue at the top of each chart.....especially looking at the M1 & M5 charts. Note that today we see M1 ADR is 143 vs M5 at 152 confirming that the current narrow trading ranges are continuing and thus I will adjust my expectations accordingly.

When Dax or Nas trade in a narrow range we put on a grey rectangle to remend us that our mormal methodology is suspended and we either wait for a breakout or just trade the edges of the Grey Zone

Concentration, Discipline & Patience to trade any system are the three essentials that result in Profitable Days Trading
