What about eurusd trade today? It was very similar to gbpusd.
Here is the trade from yesterday. Yes, I did not take the eurusd today. Watching the money management aspect more. So only those trades. I hope this helps.

Tremendous work Xaphod! is the DynamicMA a 2nd (separate) MA from the one that is included in the dashboard? CH uses 2 MAs...I believe they are both dynamic, the first being the MA20 (on the M15) and the 2nd is the MA240. Is that what we can have by using the DynamicMA v1.0 alongside the dashboard?

One other idea of something to add to the "to do" list...if you think it's doable...(maybe in a separate indicator, or maybe part of the dashboard?)...would be to have the market session times drawn across the top of the chart with a thin horizontal line the way CH has...each on its own level and with their own color, but not eating up much of the chart space, just thin lines at the top of the screen.

Yes, I agree, that you be great. Also a Tokyo alert when the a pair reaches it 40 pips for the day. Then you trade the pair.

Yes, the DynamicMA is a 2nd (separate) MA.
Yes, that is what you can have by using it alongside the dashboard.
The MA in the dashboard is included there in order to calculate the Pips To MA data. Otherwise it could just as well have been draw with the DynamicMA indicator.

With GMT, server times, local times and DST, it is one big mess to wrap ones head around. Maybe it is better/easier to modify the i-Sessions.mq4 indicator instead.

You're absolutely right.

Your Dashboard has totally taken the place of SignalBars for me...which has been *the* staple indicator I've used since I started trading!

My preferred corner to have the dashboard is in the top left corner (0), however, sometimes other indicators plot text up in that corner...is there anyway to have the dashboard sit a tiny bit lower in the corners (by buffering the space a bit), so that other text that is in that same area doesn't overlap?

When I put the Dashboard on the EJ, it adds 2 0s at the end of the numbers.

Seems the 2 extra 0s are added on all JPY pairs.

Both issues fixed:

 

  1. Fixed pip values off by x100 in 2/3 digit currencies
  2. Added dashboard Y-Offset Adjustment parameter
    DisplayYOffset=NN
  3. v0.83

Thank u very much for the latest updates to the indicator. Greatly appreciate what u're doing.. and especially for accommodating our requests.

There is another addition which will be useful.

Either an average value (pips) or a series of values of :

1. previous upswings
2. previous down swings.

This will give us a very good idea of whether it's relatively safe to take a signal to enter a trade.

If we're moving away (up) from the MA we'd pay close attention to the previous upswings to determine our profit targets and also to accurately decide if it's a high probability trade or not. If we're moving away (down) from the MA then we'd pay attention to the previous downswings.

If this information is going to crowd the chart then maybe a separate window below the chart can be used ?

I think this together with ur remaining to-do's will pretty much give us all the information we need to successfully trade the CH method with greater accuracy.

Just got home from a long day. Here are yesterdays trades.

gbpusd - (-51 pips)
eurjpy - 35 pips
usdchf - 17 pips

Total 1 pip for the day. I also missed the eurusd.

Also wanted you ask you about taking trades when the reveversal candle break is near 23.6 level, for example 5 pips or sometimes at that level. How much distance do you need to 23.6 to risk 50 pips stoploss. Do you have TP always at 23.6 level? On that eur trade i see that you exited near 50 fib level. Any advices on TP's?

I try to learn this technique from you, because i see that you're doing well trading it.

Here are the 2 trades. I just watched the 4 hours of the new Craig Harris webinar. I have been trading it little wrong, now I have it right. Need to take the trade after the london close, not near it. Like the usdchf. Take the trade just like you would with a regular CH trade. Wait for a reversal candle and stoch agreement taking it back to the 23.6% or beyond. That is it. Remember, I do not take trades on Mon and Friday.

Total pips for the week is 89 pips
