How to interpret the news from Today's Calendar??

Hi guys..

Im a bit new here...Can someone explain to me how the news in Today's Calendar work? For example there are words like actual and forecast. Wat does this all means?

Well, the actual number comes from the report and you wont generally know it until it is released. Although, every now and then the news will leak.

The forecast number is what a majority of economists and analysts are predicting the number to be. Sometimes they are spot on and sometimes not so much. It can also be referred to as the expected number on some sites.
