1 Day-Slow Stochastics in a 4h-Chart?

maybe someone can help me: i don't want to switch between the4h and th 1day-chart. i only need the 1day-slow-stochastics in the 4 hour-chart. how can i integrate them?

thank you. do i have to change the timeframe to 1440? because if i do that i only get "stairs" and no curves.

that's how the MTF indicators work. You could also use a slower stochastic on your 4hr time frame and match it's cycles up to a stochastic on the daily to figure how much slower you need to make it to get an approximation of the longer time frame on your 4 hr chart.

of course you get steps instead of a curve.

Every group of 6 bars will be referencing the same previous day, so the value will be exactly the same.

The only other option is to create synthetic day bars for a lookback period based on the close time of the previous bar and generate the indicator value based on those. That work is a bit much to ask someone to do for free.
