i never go with a hedge man , try to close with less loses as you can , and try to avoid it the future .
open the position keep it running till it hit TP or SL and then think of another one

also the 15 min is veryy good indicator for the daily trend

Yep, I agree...hedges are the worst! My lesson from last night (and everyone should learn from this mistake) is: don't trade when you are over tired!! Because of lack of sleep, I was misjudging all my trading rules. I wasn't reading the charts properly...and entered into a completely mis-timed EUR/USD trade, then I got hit by the news that came out last night, and in panick mode I hedged to contain the losses. Stupid stupid... Now there's a 50pip gap between my orders.

When I get off work tonight I will head home to trade the start of the London session. Definately will be waiting for a strong Ichimoku signal to light up before I enter my 3rd position.

you know this is the main reason i only take 50 pip a day , i used to go with all the signals staying awake like crazy , and at the end i was a big loser , now i only have my 50 Pips and close the chart go with my normal life ,talk with you all here,go out enjoy being a human, market keeps going up and down and a signal there a signal here but i don't care i got my daily share and am happy and i go with my life

i am waiting for a cross on the 5 mins or at least a clear view on it and the 15 mins , and if i missed the cross on the 5 i can go with another one on the 1 min

Maybe it is better to say "don't overtrade, one or max two trades per day are more than enough".
Watch out SP500 futures. As you all know, there is a high correlation between JPY pairs and SP500. As long as downward pressure continues on indices, up moves on JPY pairs will be limited. 990 level on SP500 futures is crucial, IMO.

yooooou are a real trader man , i didn't want to mention this now cause i know all the BIG BOYYZZ will go crazy watching S&P and they might forget the Ichi rules , but as you mention S&P now days is fighting a biig biig resistance and if it did manage to break it all the JPY crosses will go higher , but who know, below is the S&P chart

if the news kept coming bad like this week i dont think it will manage to break the 1000 again , also the way the JPY charts look is kinda telling that toping is very near or might done already last month , keep it up man

Hey gang. I am back and checked the charts after reading Vics post and it looks like we are a little jammed up. I'll scan over some charts and if I see something I'll post for you guys to eyeball.


Regarding my old hedge on the dragon, I took a loss. I realize that all you do when you hedge is lock in a loss. So I closed it out and moved on. The thing is that I know I could have opened up other trades on that pair to cover my loss but I was not using this system and could not tell for certain what would happen. It was out of control so to speak.

am not in still waiting for a 5 min cross , so far there is no i think we might get one soon , and if we did it might go with the price down to exit the 30 min cloud and start clearing the 4Hrs support , or at least this is what i wish , but as long as am alive i'll not wish i just go with the signal

Nothing worse than watching price move up and down 2 pips! I did some studying today.

I learned that gann, elliot wave and pivots etc are all covered by this complete system called ichimoku.
