and anyone think about the risk management i advise you not to go with more than 5% , you start with 2.5% find a good system and once you master it you can go tell 5% but more than this will be madness

I just gave that MM example to show Calderone that we don't need to trade more than one currency. Otherwise, everyone has different risk profiles and the trader himself/herself should determine his/hers and then trade accordingly.
I have replaced the standard candlestics with HeikinAshi candles as it shows the trend more clearly and filters some noise.
+93 pips with my SL at the lower line of the cloud at the 4h TF, stopped out by the 20 pip trailing stop.

Thanks for the further info. 5-6% is certainly at the upper end of the risk spectrum. I tend to run a max of 2% of portfolio in any one trade however horses for courses I guess. I will be interested to see how this system progresses once he can no longer trade a mini account (most brokers wont offer the leverage required to see those returns on account capital in excess of USD50k).

Regarding market gaps, I've been trading for 6 years and whilst it's not a weekly event it is a very material risk that I have worn twice. I suppose with the low probability is could be seen as an acceptable risk however once bitten it becomes another of those things that you structure your own personal trading rules to avoid.

Good luck replicating those results though, I genuinely hope you exceed them.

How are you going with your hedge? I stupidly got myself into one last night, the two positions are approximately 50 pips apart.

I'm thinking the most sensible way out of this is to use the 15M Ichimoku to identify a mid-term trend and (hopefully) ride the distance with a 3rd position to equalise the loss, and then exit out of all positions.

How do you see this, and any other strategies for getting out of this little conundrum?

i see very good posts in the thread, also i have noticed that Samer still sucking the PIPs from our MT4 , i only made 75 pip the last 48 Hrs and he made like 979747328947297892 pips while i was asleep only , how comes he beats me

i never go with a hedge man , try to close with less loses as you can , and try to avoid it the future .
open the position keep it running till it hit TP or SL and then think of another one

also the 15 min is veryy good indicator for the daily trend

These are my thoughts about EUR JPY from the daily chart

-The price is below Kijun line and testing it, if the price managed to break the kijun it will go upwards to test Tenken line , if it did break Tenken and managed to close above it then the uptrend will continue to the next high

- If the price rejected from Kijun it will go down to test the support in the cloud area and if it manage to break this support then the pressure will be for a down move

the 4Hrs chart is for the down
the 1Hr chart is no man's land the price is inside the cloud and must clear it or get rejected

any ideas about any other pairs!!!!!!!
don't keep watching the 5 mins chart , DON"T ISOLATE YOURSELVES FROM THE BIG PICTURE

Thanks for the thread. I have been reading it and should have been in bed long ago.
I traded live from the red line on m1 chart when all the safe conditions were met. bailed out at the pivot line for just under 40 pips. Think I am liking this.
I need to find out more /learn more about the clouds on multi time frames offering resistance etc.
the arrows on my chart are a 5/8 ema cross and on that basis I should have stayed short but as you say greed=loser.
Anyway here's my trade.

very good trade my friend , congrats for the 40 Pips , keep doing this every day and you will be rich within one year , never be greedy , everything needs sometime so we wait till our time comes . try to stay aware of the big Picture watching the 1Hr 4 Hrs daily charts will help you more than you think

How would you trade the euryen right now after a win like that. Forget the pips won and pretend it didn't happen. We have a big move down and may see consolidation or another push lower.
I think my question is would you be waiting for the signals to reverse, pullback and reset or what?.

edit. I suppose we are going to get some sort of a pullback and if we wait for it on the m1 the cloud needs crossing which means there is a way to predict the time of the next move.
