Watching for some time now these free signals from dailyfx.com >> forex trading signals or https://plus.dailyfx.com/login/loginForm.jsp
Nice java platform ,medium/short/long TF,3 strategies,all performances.
Fully aware that fxcm has an interest of getting more commission pips but the question is about the quality of these signals.

Yes, the signals are fully automated.
Looks like the signals are heavily biased right now for the trend in the major pairs to continue. Here's a snapshot of USD/CAD, EUR/USD, and GBP/USD

demo trade those signals well. i think fxcm have managed acct programme and their results are alwayz woeful. so be careful taking their signals

Doing due diligence using a demo is a good recommendation as well if you want to test them before hand.

Another thing, at the bottom of the page there is a performance section that details the performance for each strategy. The performance is for the past 60 days. Signals are generated for 3 market conditions: range, breakout and momentum. Naturally as market conditions change you would expect the performance on each to change. So you can see the past 60 days performance to know which one has been performing best in current conditions.

I am familiar with the signal service and have viewed the online webinar a couple times. I am confused about a few things. Is there a set of rules that we can review so as to mirror results as closely as possible? For instance, I have noticed that a trade will disappear after the second stop is hit even though there were more than two stops set initially. Are we expected to open multiple positions (same entry point but different objectives) what are the rules governing this? Essentially, I am trying to match your performance but can't do it unless I know exactly how the trades are placed and managed.

Please help me if you can.

Hi sloanman,

Some of the strategies are designed for tiered exiting. So if there are 4 stops you should exit the position at 4 points if the market is moving against you.

To do this, you could open 4 separate positions each at the same price and set an individual stop/limit on each. Or if you have hedging disabled, you can open one position and set entry orders to partially close portions of the one ticket at each price.
