Cody didn't have a life before we found him. Now hes famous. I just had the Forex Factory servers tell me they were overloaded. Probably everbody getting his info. This is like winning the lotto for Cody. Imagine the chicks hes gonna score telling people hes Ace???

I see that there are some people here that still don't know why they are here to follow this system thread...
I found out this method some days ago and it seems to be profitable on the long term and I'm gonna try it fromt he next week with these settings:

GBP/JPY with a maximum risk of 3%. TP=SLx4
EUR/JPY with a maximum risk of 1%. TP=SLx3

Am I waisting my time?

this is a forum which everyone can explain his meaning, so do not be angry about mine...

For me there is no wondering why Ace and others do not participate anymore to this tread.

This tread is now full of joke (even if the joke of Yen are pretty good) and/or have nothing to do with the Ace's system.

Those discussions have to be in another tread.

I am really sorry that nobody followed my post wich was to guess Ace's new system.

So guys, set up a trade of the first/second/third candle have no meaning, each could work at a certain moment.

The main important thing that this tread revealed is the R/R, this is the way to trade like professionnal for living, no matter the system.

Instead of increasing this R/R, everybody claim for a lower R/R, this is, anyways, a bad direction, which have nothing to do in this tread.

Instead of found a way to decrease the stop loss everybody want to decrease the take profit, this is totally wrong, all who think this are in the wrong way for sure !


Please do not push your ego into this, for the sake of this tread, regards,

I understand what you are saying Billiejoe. Now that you have that off your chest, what are your suggestions to make this a better strategy and thread?

No one can guess Ace's thoughts on a new strategy or if there was a new strategy.

in fact I was hoping to make a better tread that it is already, but if nobody is following I won't.

My first (late) post was about improving this system by guessing the "new" Ace's system, of course we can guess it.

I would add that I totally respect all the suggestions about another breakout which could work better, etc...

But I just think that we do not have to mix it with this one.

We just have to check about a tighter stop and/or building the positions, it is so easy, why bother this tread with other BO ?

I have already VASTLY improved the original system. I have backtest results that show the year of 2007 as a $30,000 profit year... Ace is gone, to be honest, don't think he's commin back, let the thread die, unless your yen and want to throw jokes around. I'm starting to wonder if we will ever find out Ace's new system.

And Bill, the reason nobody posts here anymore is not because of jokes.... it's because the system lost alot of the last little while. People have lost faith. This is why people are not posting anymore. Only those that have made any kind of modification that reduced the drawdown, or increased the Win trade, their not posting anymore.

Wrenski, Yen, Yonnie, Me, 11andy11, and you are wh frequents this thread anymore, and I only mainly do it because yen like to make me play thread tag.

Sorry, this is just my opinion. Fantastic system, wrong way went about it.
I fact, to be truth, how this tread is going on, I won't forget this system but I will forget this tread ( as many others) because this tread have nothing to do with the initial Ace's system and also have nothing to do with big R/R.

If you guys didn't understand the potential of this early week entry because of the loosing week, you have nothing else to do in this tread unless you bring some new solutions to increase the R/R (like I tryed)

I don't honestly think you've checked around the forum... if you did, you'll see 2 threads started that have done exactly what you just said.

Ace's original system would have been eaten up and spit out pre 2007, This is the whole point of MUCH of the discussion in here, I'm sorry that you were not here for most of it... But don't sit there and fling insinuations when you know nothing about what others are doing...

at first I would precise that I have much respect for guys like you because anyways you are trying to improve the thread to give much knowledge to many peoples which come here to found informations, and I respect this work/time you are involved.

Beside I would say that the way is not good for this trread because people begin to talk about other BO, this is just not the good place even if they are good.

This place is good for talk about improvement of this system, which is for me, not the BO entry but the R/R wich depnds on the stop loss.

Sure it is, the BO point has everything to do with R:R, it's all about finding that balance between Breakout, and trade close.

Take a look at this image, and you'll get a better understanding of how my modification works... it literally traps movements.

I think the original system is flawed greatly, causes far too much whiplash that is not needed at all.

I guess what I'm saying, is there's not much more than can be done with Ace's original system. I've attempted improving the core system while keeping it's simplicity, and to be honest... it just can't be done, without certain measures in place, which complicates things further, there is no recovery. Ace's original system just isn't a long term system.

You are missing the all point !

Your trade is sure a good example, but it could be the same for other BO, the first candle, the last, the second, the third, the candle opened and closed below/above the weekly open, etc...

You are missing the whole point because you are searching the "perfect" BO, but you should be tracking the "perfect" stop loss.

How else could you improve your R/R ?

There is so many entries, but not enough ways shown to be profitable.

In fact, no matter the entry if you manage your stop loss to get a huge R/R.

If you didn't understand that, you can not being profitable in long term.


This is the ONLY key to be succesful.

I've done that also... what I think your not understanding is that everything your complaining about, the improvement of this system, stoploss instead of BO... This has all already been discussed... From MA's to RSI...

You're negating everything discussed in here because of a few jokes... I'm sorry man, this is nobody's fault but your own...

Nothing is done, even if people talked about RSI, MA, , which I never use...

I am not negative because of the jokes, in fact I am realizing that if jokes took place here it was because no interests of others (sorry Yen !)

Whatever, I am trying to give interest back for this thread which was very good before.
