It used to work and had an automatic magic value coded into it so multiple timeframes could be loaded on the same chart but it appears with the latest MT4 builds the magic value no longer works. I will have a look next week when the Markets open again.

Hi, would you help me create EA based on this idea



EMA & Parabolic SAR Breakout Strategy for XAUUSD (1-Minute Timeframe)
Indicators Used:

  1. ema 8 (1 m) < ema 21(1m) < ema8(5m) < ema 21(5m) < ema8(H1) < ema21(H1) → Used as the main trend filter.
  2. Parabolic SAR → Used to determine entry points based on price movement.

Sell Entry Rules if Sar(m5) downtrend

  1. Main trend is down
  2. Parabolic SAR confirms a downtrend (SAR dots appear above the price and are getting smaller).
  3. The price retraces temporarily (pullback), and SAR dots start spreading wider.
  4. After the retracement ends, the price resumes the main downtrend, and SAR dots start getting smaller again.
  5. A sell entry is triggered when the first bearish candle closes below the last SAR dot at the retracement point.

    1. Note: If the price only touches the SAR dot but does not close below it, no entry is made.

Buy Entry Rules

 

  1. The opposite of the sell entry rules:

    1. The main trend is up
    2. SAR confirms an uptrend (dots appear below the price and are getting smaller).
    3. The price retraces temporarily, and SAR dots widen.
    4. After the retracement ends, the price resumes the main uptrend, and SAR dots get smaller.
    5. A buy entry is triggered when the first bullish candle closes above the last SAR dot at the retracement point.

Additional Rules to Prevent Overtrading

  1. Only 1 order per SAR signal cycle

    1. During one SAR cycle (from SAR cross-up to SAR cross-down on the price), only one sell or one buy order is allowed.
    2. Even if the previous order is still open, no new entries will be made within the same cycle.

  2. If a new SAR cross occurs, a new trade can be opened.
  3. Entries only occur on the first candle that gives a signal.

    1. If the signal remains on the following candles, no additional orders will be opened.
    2. A new trade is only allowed if a new SAR cross occurs.

  4. SAR comparison with price:

    1. SAR is compared with the high or low of the price, not the close price.


I forgot something important. SL level is Sar [1] (entry candle sar)

Master its working it can load multiple times, it only does not refresh at some point user needs to double click or add auto refresh to chart
i am posting for help on pips counting from high low and not from open, if you can add this option to it will help a lot
when counting from open user cant get highlow synchrinize correct

Plus, I was coding in the simple Word Notes, I didn't have any specific Editor.

I really don't know much about coding , while I pated the line from another program , I got that error , as I tried to remove the parentice , I got another , hence the reason I need master to intervene for me before I got notty in the skull... Please save a soul....
Hello friends. I wonder if there is a method that I can see graphs at different time intervals other than predefined time intervals that I can reach directly from my screen? For example, I will be able to switch quickly by touching the values on the screen using 10 minutes and multiples of 10 minutes.

I noticed a while loop with no limit, so if it hasn't found something it's looking for then it will attempt to continue until it crashes, this possibly could be the issue you've encountered, that coincidentally didn't occur with my symbol tfs. {file}
Dear Honourable & Respectable Mr @Jeanlouie in the past you had helped me by repairing the above indicator i have attached same indicator with the same logic but they have added few more time frame to it but again it has the same issue whenever i add it to my chart the chart freezes can you please check and do the needful and modify it where the indicator works smoothly please

I think I know what you're trying to do in this code.
However, this way you end up with a lot of redundant code which only makes it worse.
Plus, deleting the objects and recreating them on every tick is also a vewry bad idea.
So, in general, the idea is good, but the coding is really bad.
IOW, you are trying to use existing code to create your own indicator, but because you don't know shit what you're doing, the result can't be anything good.
So, all you actually need is the Daily Pivots - you don't need the Weekly and Monthly Pivots.
You only need one Pivot Entry Zone, and you don't need to plot anything else.
You only need one Pivot Level for SL.
You only need one Pivot Level for Conservative Take Profit.
You only need one Pivot Level for Aggressive Take Profit.
So, you don't need to calculate all the Pivot Points and Mid Points!!!
So, you don't need 13 buffers!!!
If you need buffers at all, you only need them for the Levels which you are using.
So, there is so much to "fix" in your code that it would be better to start from scratch and create a totally new indicator.
And also, why would you need all the historical Levels, if you all you need is the current and the future, so only 2 plots?

Even if you used a demo for analysis, that makes it easier for all around.

That is pretty much the industry standard for more years than I can remember now.

You don't need this indicator for that.
You can easily find a Pivot Points indicator which does what you want.
Just Google and you will find.

Along the way someone removed the exit condition in the while loop, it's the exact same issue as before. Seems fine now.
