Hello again, BTEv. I am still trying to get the EA to work as I have selected it to trade LONGS only this morning on BTC which has smashed all barriers on its way up. Unfortunately still does not take any trades. I went through the logfiles and deleted all the synchronising data as well, but I have now asked MQL5 for help as the synchronising did not stop. Is there perhaps anything you can recommend to get it to work? Hercs. {image}
You said that you have 5000 point Renko Bricks on BTCUSD.
Please look at the timestamps of the signal candle and the next candle after that - they are exactly the same.
After that you have 4 consecutive bars with the exact same timestamp.
So, the bar with the signal is actually not on the last closed bar, even though it looks like that on the Renko chart.
No EA can do this.
If this can be done at all, it must be done in a different way, I imagine in general, that it would have to be based on price change, not on the signal bar.
Also, you are always looking at the chart after the fact and you are experincing the "lost opportunity" syndrome.
Lost opportunity about which you could not have known before it happened.
And the smallest time interval on MT4 is 1 minute.
There is no way to avoid this.
I guess, that if you want to do this, you need some other trading platform which can do this.
MT4 and 5 are not suitable for this.
