A blast from the past (why not
), as the radio disc jockeys used to say The Wayward Wind - Gogi Grant top seller 1956 [/quthe southeast. ote]
And a blast from the past it was! My dad and I used to listen to this together when I was a kid. It seems like whenever Dad was around, music was too. He taught me a lot of the old cowboy songs, and we'd be singing anytime we were together doing something. He was born in 1907 and grew up in Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. His favorite music was the old cowboy songs and hill music from that time. In the 60's he liked a lot of the folk music and some of the earlier rock and roll. I'm glad you posted that song, it brings back a lot of good memories.
