Hi guys, this is the first thread i posted in Forex Factory Forum, seems like this forum getting famous. Let's get started , i am interested in GBP/JPY this pair because the average movement for this pair is arond 100-200 pips per day. If any of you guys can master the movement for this pair, you will great. Normally i use RSI 14 + ADX to trace the momentum of G/J , what about you guys ? Later i will post out the reason why i use that 2 indicators.

If you are new to trading I would go for an easier pair to trade.

If you are good to go-

For this pair I use the tlatomi method. You will find it in this forum, it was posted by a fella called Judex001 ( cheers mate)....it is an solid method and on the 4 hour chart you catch good moves on this pair....but- you will need to give the trade room to breath so stops are large for this pair.

I like moving averages:

intermediate trend .... 6,13, ..... [these give the long term trend 30,40,50] ....... all ..... WMA's

..... I use 4hr and Daily Charts only ..... recommended for beginners!

And papertrade first ...... until you have a proven Method. IMO
EUR/USD is one of the hardest to trade .... the trends. Just compare it with GBP/USD or GBP/JPY. Just ... IMO

I have not posted charts before, so ... but its really easy to set up.


For Newbies ...... [MT4] Go to ..... Insert, Indicators, moving averages .....


I use tomato for the 30 and 50 and white for the dotted 40 wma.
..... and yellow for the 6 and white for the 13 wma.

Once you have the setup you will know why these work so well for me. You do not need to use the 40 if you prefer not, but it helps to create a nice tight TWIST in the averages, and or if these lines Pass .... cleanly .... through the 6 and 13 ..... then take note, but there are exceptions, so papertrade until you have a proven Method. Mix or match to whatever works for you. But I have found these moving averages to be some of the best! And if anyone is new to trading .... please papertrade first ...... and if you trade with $ go to a higher timeframe chart like 4hr. or even the daily, for the trends. There are many traders, that are losing their accounts, trying to pick tops and bottoms.

I like the indicator where you buy gbp/jpy everytime it has a dip. :
