I have been lately practicing a bit of C# and for the interest of tests of indicators, I coded this small application dedicated to MT4. Its goal is to generate some basic signals and observe the behaviour of each indicator against those signals which, at the opposite of market history, are not random at all. The interface is quite basic and I do not pretend to be an expert in the field. It is just experimentation.
Signals are generated in simple history files. For the sake of simplicity, I would choose EURUSD as symbol and any non standard timeframe. When I click on Save file, it opens a form that lets me choose where to save the file and what name I would give.
It appears to be pretty handy to have a better knowledge of the indicator tested.
