Axia Trade Discussion

Been interested in creating stocks and etfs portflolios lately. But it’s difficult to do this with the real stocks, as it requires a lot of fundings and there are not many companies are wiling to providing this type of market activity.
Hence Axia Trade cfds equities and etfs seems like a good option in my case.
Any advises how to create decent diversified stocks or etfs portfolios that will work in the long run?

Well, cfds equities and etfs are not very suitabel for investing specifically. Not talking about this broker.
Alhtoguh it depends on the trading conditions of the broker.

How so? I read sme traders on this forum were talking abut investing in stocks of other broekrs in the long term. from what I can see here, there are a lot of stocks, indices and etfs available

Because they are not the underlying assets but contracts for difference. Therefoer you will pay some premium to rollover your positions over nights.
You can imagine how much money it will take to trade stocks or etfs in the long run. Especially if you want to buy the large volume of those shares to begin with.
It’s hard for me to speak for everyone. Maybe someone will come here and tell us his different point of view on that.

I noticed that there is a thing called the “0% overnight fees” at Axia. could it be helpful to avoid all those overnight fees to trade stocks the way I want?

well… to a certain extent.
The broker gives the 0% swap fee for the newly registered users which is kinda cool.
But on the flip side it’s a one time deal you know. Plus one week is not that long for long term traders.
If you have the account you can show the screenshot with the trading conditions from the platofrm so that we could comment on the investing prospects

sure, here you are. AAPL info from Axia platform

22% annual swaps for long and short and 1.8% per month. It’s not bad actually.
So if I calculated this correctly for one AAPL stock you will have to pay 32 cents monthly swaps with the price per share of $180.
Looks like too good to be true so you need to double check.
And aslo find out what volume represents 1 share.

I have checked and I noticed also that Axia has different swaps requirements for demo and real accounts as far as I’m concerned.
On the real acc it’s 30%. But it’s still reasonable if you make all the calculations.

Ha. But look at the leverage. It is lower too. 1:5 instead of 1:10 on the demo.
So it looks like they decided to take the safer stance on the stocks trading at live account.

To be fair, i just can't comment on that because it’s a new thing for me when broker has different conditions on demo and on live accs. Is it common, what you guys think?

Hmm.. As far as I know brokers do provide unsimilar conditions on demo. But more often than not, you can customize your demo account yourself.
I mean there should be a possibility to choose levrage, deposit amount etc.
This type of disparities of demo and real I see for the first time.

Lads, what do you think of the trading signals Axia provides to their clients? Have you been following them, are they reliable?

To be honest, I don’t rely on any kind of trading signals aside from my analyses. I checked Axia’s signals and they can serve as a good tool for trading ideas. I like that they have included what timeframe the trading signal appeared and you can make your own decision upon it. But following them blindly I wouldn’t advise. From what I have seen so far, the SL level is much bigger than the TP level, you risk too much to make too little if you follow their signals.

I agree, I noticed the same. The risk-reward ratio is not good, but the risk management strategy is yours to be done. I see trading signals as an excellent feature that provides trading ideas. You know, as traders we follow our favourite pairs and this is an excellent way to broaden our horizon and diversify the portfolio if the signals provided align with our analyses… so yeah, I would say they are useful, but how reliable are I have paid much attention…

Trading signals in general is a controversy in and of itself.
i don’t think i saw any forex broker’s signals that would be perfectly plausibe
