I have not been trading much this week( 1 trade yesterday-tues for 17 pips) as I have been coding an Ea designed to work on MiniAccount under 500.$ I am almost finished and am in the testing(forward) stage. I will post EA and results in new thread. Then I can let the Forex'ers kick it around during test drive. Good luck all !

Sharp moves in Price - Euro/Usd -other majors - are usually followed by sharp Retracements? Majors all had sharp reversal yesterday and this might be a Bottom? 4 hr charts all showing reversals and I will favor Longs on a Dip. If this is a Trend change- it should be a "BIG" one. I will wait for Daily confermation though.That wont happen till nxt week. I will post prediction for nxt week at close today.

The Dollar could go either way this week-News Releases every day this week except Friday. I will wait for those releases and trade after unless there is a Major support/resistance Break.In that case, I would trade in the direction of the Break. More likely-there will be a minor retrace up (Sunday / Mondayish followed by a resumption of Downtrend in Majors- I now beleive they are going lower. I am still working on my MiniTraderEA and I cant wait to post it here and get my crawlmuppetts.Happy trading and God Bless!

This was not a good Dollar day. The minor retrace I spoke of last post-might be turning into a meaningful reversal. A clean Break above Resistance in each pair would signal(to me) a reversal. In that case I would only look to BUY on dips in price near support zones. The GBP/USD really took off leading the pack North. I am looking for this week to be pivotal. What has really helped my trading has been turning off CNBC and all the negativity about the world situation. All those negative waves really disturb my chi'.Happy trading and God Bless!

The reversal has taken place on eur-gbp-aud vs Dollar, (my pairs) and I, have changed to LONG for sure. 4 hr charts support reversal and all 3 pairs have now broken(and then some) their week old resistance zones. I didnt catch this move this morning and now I wait for the retrace down to set my new Long order on each pair (3 lots total on Standard). This is at least a minor reversal in short term(this week-and most of next). Good luck and god Bless!

LONG on EUR/[email protected]
1 lot on each pair / take [email protected] (no stops set until pair is in Profit(25 pips min)move to just above break even. Good luck and God Bless!

I closed Aud/USD @ .6443 loss of 58 pips(OUCHEee!) AND MY OTHER 2 PAIRS ABOUT TO DIE. Wildly in negative territory and about 2 grand lighter! I hate these days! lol - I'll be back! Good luck and God Bless

Ouch! 8 Fingers looked like you had a rough day in the markets. I had placed a trade going south on Eur/Usd and pulled out because I listened to you and another expert saying it's going north. I've got to trust my own trading and not others. Hope you make it back. By the way I am going to go bearish for GBPUSD at the end of this daily candle first position 100 pips to the south. Would like to get back in on the Eur but I pulled out of my trigger...Hope you make your money back man!

Shoulda had faith! I have just bailed in my 2 other pairs (eur & gbp) - this latest set of trades-now all closed- have netted me $ 218.34. What a white knuckle ride! I was more than 4 grand south yesterday! I know the retrace will bring better entry on my 3 pairs! AND OMG! There exists someone who trusts and has faith in me?(besides me mum). fxeagle- I still believe these majors will rise (though I bailed on my 2 open trades as soon as the whole showed profit) mainly becuase they have been tanking for way tooooo long. I am not a very good Swingtrader,yet!

That white-knuckle ride required plastic underwear! I was glued to computer for the session. Y is it,that EVERY time u go out on a limb-IT BREAKS?LOL!! I think the majors are going north but they arn't running there! AUD seems like it wants to visit HELL before Heaven-Eur and Gbp have made better progress out of their historic slide south.The fundamental reasons for continued slide south still exist for these majors (commodity prices falling-England's & EU's Economic woes) but at some point(dont know when exactly) the retracement WILL come! These pairs are oversold on every indicator known and a minor retrace(at least) cant be far away.Until that happens-I will be Selling into rallies! At least in the short term(this coming week). My ForexMagic8 reads: ON Eur/Usd - Gbp/Usd - Aud/Usd SELL after a strong rally north- ie......( when they are near their previous dailyhigh - SELL- if rejected at Resistance only! Well-I do believe that there exists a will to move up for Eur-GBP-Aud vs Dollar.These pairs are solidly off their lows of the past week and Traders are waiting for dips to trade them long.Thats exactly what I will do.That wait shouldnt be longer than Wed Euro session beginning (1-2 am EST). I made a right direction call 2 posts ago-just pulled the trigger early. I was never worst scared then I were then!lol (not really!).Happy trading and (as always God Bless!)

Me thinks this minor retrace north is underway-BUT-I dont want to gamble on its longevity. Right now(11-26-08 7:20est) I dont see any clear direction in the Eur-Gbp-Aud vs Dollar. I will investigate a clear path when markets reopen after thanksgiving holiday. The Trend of these 3 pairs is still decidedly SHORT.Enjoy the Turkey and the restfull sleep soon after!
