I haven't used the strat (per se) for a while. I like it though, might post a few trades again here when time allows.
...like using the 15min stoch as well as the 5min to help filter setups, as per the genesis strat. I didn't take the EU long earlier off yesterday's high which is currently stalling @R2 and also the 3300 RN...waiting for news to pass.

... great EU short signal a couple of candles before the news off R2/RN. I'm not brave enough to trade/hold into 'red' news.

Edit: ..the 15min stoch is great for keeping you in a trade too! Another tip from RJ on the genesis thread.

I've modified the indicators a little and use it on conjunction with the "Daytrading/scalping with high leverage" strategy.
So far it's proven very profitable.

...it's a CT trade but at the moment the 15min stoch is indicating continued momentum. Price action has now also given an opportunity to remove risk. SL to BE. I'm wondering if a good place to TP will be at the TL...

15min stoch beginning to hook so exited the trade for +7.5
EA short off the pivot.

Edit: Exited for -4, 15m stoch crossed long.

..another EA short, AU looked quite strong before the news and then broke out long from it's wedge (5min), helping EA through support. There was also divergence on the 5min stoch adding more weight and which helped me decide to enter despite a dodgier looking 15min stoch position. Will be my last trade today.

Yes, although having packed up shop for the week, i saw the Eu short signal and took it for +38. Always be flexible

Hi sidefx, i've got some questions for you as i see you dont use H1 stochastic, why? or you just prefer to use m15 stoch with KPeriod 11? and have you changed something in author's rules? what's you method of exit?

Hi Alex F.X., i no longer use the author's rules to the letter as time has gone by and i've developed my own feel for price action which often governs a trade before the indicators all line up

If you're new to trading, i'd highly recommend getting to know candle/price action patterns first. From learning lots about stochastics from the genesis thread (and screentime!), I find using the 5min/15min combination a good way of trading with the 'flow'. That's not to say the hrly doesn't help but for me the 5/15 does the job. My exit strat is based on price action as each trade progresses, hard/fast rules are never to let a winner turn into a loser and always cut a loser as quickly as price action dictates.

If i can clear 15-20 pips, net at the end of each day i trade, i'm happy.
Currently short GJ from a good looking stoch position on both 5 & 15, with some divergence on the 5min stoch as it hit today's intra-high and entry below the 50 psych. Momentum building towards S1 now with 15min stoch keeping me in the trade through the slower period.

...also short EJ from a break down through the pivot, you'll notice i wasn't so concerned with the position of the 5min stoch around this entry, it was the 15min coming out of overbought that i liked.

Both shorts are now stalling around their respective RNs, so looking to take profit on both now for around +30 each.

EU short, 5min. Too early a setup for me but another nice example of divergence and a turn at yesterday's high.

EU long setting up...waiting for a close above WklyR2 and DP....above the RN would be ideal too!
