Hi all.

I thought I would show how I watch the EU.

Weekly, 4h, 1h,15m, charts all on the same screen. S/D marked on each. I will convert the 15m to 5m for my entries. This helps me to see all the potential obstacles.

I also watch the usd index. Right now it is sitting at a big indecission zone. we will have to see what happens here to be able to place a good position.

If the USD gets some strength we could see a 90 pip drop or so in the EU. This will take us to the demand zone I have marked on the 1h chart.

We are seeing what Simple was talking about. Price ran 8 pips or so and has reversed. I did not take this signal. London sometimes has other plans. So when I get close to London opening I will usually wait for it to open and see what happens. Lately London opening has been lame. But I still am expecting a move North to pick up orders before going south. But who knows. seems like the London bankers are all out partying and letting this thing stew.

My 4 candle rule also has taken me out. If I took it.

Well, I've been trading now for 3 hours and I really don't like what I'm seeing for short term trading, not getting the warm fuzzies. This is one of the great things of trading, if you don't like what you see, you don't have to do anything, so I'm not.

Things you can do over this time to work on your trading.

1. Work on your trading plan

2. Trade on a trading simulator

Do a search her on FF and you will find a few

3. Read the books "Market Wizards"

I downloaded the second book on here for your reading pleasure. Please realize that very few on here or just about anywhere in the world that we take our trading advise from are at the levels of these guys are. So learn from them and then come back to price action

4. Work on Market psychology

No only the market, but yours too!

I've received PMs from some people saying doing the stuff like this that I suggest is a lot of work and people on other threads are not telling people to do all the things that I'm suggesting. That is true. I believe a lot of those people are more interested in their ego over helping people. I think there is a reason that a lot of people end up at a few of the threads over a long period of time.

I'm a teacher and a coach, this is how I teach and coach. I give kids the map, let them work it out, and nudge them along the way. I don't believe people can truly learn something or internalize it without going through a process. It's just how the brain works.

So if your one of the people that got one of my very blunt and short responses, that is why. I wish you good luck and hope you find what works for you, that is my goal for everyone.

May be it's possible to take the market entry at the second trade (Enter Short) with more risk (higher Lotsize) comparing to the first one (Enter Long). Be aware the first trade (Enter Long) can't cut it!

Hey Simple

I do this every day....

We each have to be a student first and formost forever. Then I believe we can approach this market successfully.

EURUSD, M1

Trade Example "The Force 5 Min System" with the pivotals.

Switch now at M1.

Near pivotals point I like to switch at M1 with regard to M5.

...and here I would take an enter short and won't wait for the confirmation, due to the fact of the pivotal mR1 at 1.3191 with setting a strong stop loss.

Trading by this way you've a higher risk but you are extremely early in the market.

1.3190 is reached just now and now enter short (and if the market price will go further north, so positions could be hedged).

If you would take an exit here you've earned +10 pips.

You can also wait and set a stop loss at 1.3190 or so.

Now it's time to come back at M5.

"Broker Game" (they will eat your money)
I don't would set a stop loss. It's so typically for the brokers that they push up the market price like this (last green candle going up till 1.3190/91 again).

So go out before at 1.3181 or wait for the bigger downward movement and hedge this open position if it's necessarily.

I personally would stay in the short trade and would wait for the bigger down (with the option of the hedging in background).

And now stay at M5.

follow-up

...and what we could see just now? The last bar is additively a red one!

The "right" direction,...it'll going south...

...but now we have 18:12 GMT+1 and so may be not the best time for trading. (...and as a result you can't say if it could be a stronger trend).

So go out with +10 pips Profit or take the risk over and let it further run.

Profit

Go out with one Profit of 80.-$ and let the other trades further run.

Hope it helps!

If not,...then sorry,... it's only my characteristic of trading this splendid "The Force 5min System".

Pivotals has reached (DR1 1.3275) and good arguments for some enter shorts and take a look at the Shooting Star which is forming a Northern Doji.

Profit: 20 pips

...and if trading with the pivotal points e.g. mR2 1.3307, you could earn 1.3307 - 1.3275 = +32 Pips

Hi Forexcube,

Thanks for sharing your ideas. I really look forward every day at your trades. Its simply amazing. Below are some questions which I hope you can provide better insights.

Can I confirm if you are using Pivot as a 1 day period indication? Will you explain a little more on how you trade the Pivot points?

Further, i'm currently using Oanda and it doesnt support 5 EMA open and close. Do you have any recommendation?

Try it with WMA5 and WMA3 at Oanda.

Hi All.

Thought I would sit here for the opening of the Asian session to see if anything is of interest. So far all is quiet. I would like to see price move to the upper supply area then reverse.

I think the traders all started celebrating allready....oops just realized...today is a bank holiday in Japan soooo...no trades for me...To many games at times with such low volume.

Heading out soon for Mexican meal with my wife.

Trade safe

Wellll a whizbang move....Took it right into 4h supply level that stalled it. I Wonder.....

Could this be an example of big money somewhere taking advantage of low volume to shove price to their orders to be filled to the short side???

It is a dirty game and we need to be watchful of our cash.
