EU & GU, got some quick pips (1 min chart). It's better to hit the bed, instead of trading the lethargic PA. Good night (morning) to all from down under.

@mysterio,
great work you do here!

in my experience, when you are a thread OP, it can be tempting to show or enter trades, even though you are no longer completely convinced of them, or would intuitively decide differently in the calm.

so i can well understand that, you feel somehow responsible towards other members or silent readers.

it may also be that it is not like that for you.

thx for everything you show us!
I know that you and I know nothing.

Thanks birdland. After only 2.5 years full time on this i still consider myself a journeyman but after every few months that passes, I look back at the previous months and realize my knowledge is still progressing.

Damnit missed that move

i actually had buys open around 20/25 but closed after the first quick pump to WPOC

can't catch them all

I do get a little bit reeled into overtrading so have to consciously pull myself back as the 'addicting' nature of trading can taint your judgement. This you have to be aware of at all times as what we do overlaps with gambling however much we tell ourselves it does not

anyways, thats that gone for the day

here's an approximation of my trades for today

NGL, this is an example of a particularly good day for me

golden rule, once NYSE momentum has started never try to fade it or catch highs

I bit peeved cause I had the buy in around 10 am but, decided to close it as where I was going the reception can be patchy and I don't leave positions un-monitored.

Lets have another good one tomorrow, cant complain about the London session

note zero indicators apart from FVGs

note the layer of liquidity around 1.2430

I believe the market is headed there this week

we should maintain a bullish bias

this looks like stops above the right shoulder

anyone new to trading please dont concern yourself with the heatmap too much you should be able to identify areas of liquidity 'at a glance'

you will be the better trader for it

Refer to the 'key levels' I mentioned. These are specifically chosen to be areas of liquidity. Trade around these and you wont go far wrong

Tired of holding my patience, I thought the move was going to happen tomorrow during US GDP news release. I feel really outraged.

Did not foresee quite the rebound this afternoon

Round numbers seem to be working again on GU. Last year you could almost anticipate manipulation around them.

Tomorrow same drill wait for the sweep and confirmation and keep buying

4pm UK time is outside my trading hours but was nearly teased in long around 1.2340

Once again, I try to do more homework to understand your method, be it read online or watching videos, I think I finally get a hang of it.
To sum it up quickly, it's just key levels and trading levels to watch for, once price react to those levels and it is near FVG, then start looking for setups.

The questions I have now are the following:

1. What time do you start trading? For myself my own method I only start trading once London opens.
2. I see you mention you will be using ClusterDelta, is it showing in your tradingview chart? Can you demonstrate how you use the data?
3. "High volume node is from weekly market profile" so you add 1 more indicator? Where do you find it?
4. Attached a pic below, not sure what this is from your picture.

Other than that I think it's all good, appreciate if you could shed some light on the above, some questions might sound stupid I feel.

Hi I try to get up at 5am to do analysis and be ready to take trades from 6. 30-10am UK time then 1pm-4pm UK time. However I actively try to use alerts. Admittedly its the dead of winter here and getting up at 5 can be a struggle

Cluster delta is just a suite of volume indicators. Sorry its too big a topic to get into trading volume here. A guy called 'Trader Dale' has books and videos on the topic. YouTube has more than enough info too. That includes footprint/market profile etc. All of your questions relate to cluster delta. Their website explains each indicator. However 90% of the work is chart analysis as explained. Market profile just gives you levels to trade from and the volume footprint is only for confirmations for me.

The questions only 'feel' stupid when you see the answers and feel that you should have figured it out on your own. Without questions we don't learn.
There is no such thing as a question too stupid to ask, only people too stupid to ask when they don't know.
Not asking questions leads to mistakes!

Folks, initial thought is we can short from either around 1.2405-10 to fill some imbalance and buy lower down

still drawing my charts thats just an initial impression

dxy is approaching an h4 demand level but ultimately is heading to break an h4 swing low before Gu can enter a bearish phase

now that i look more, a previous daily POC is 1.2411. i'll short from there. This will break some short term highs for liquidity

In 1.2360s i'll look for buy again

Mysterio, going through my notes and your notes leave me with two questions.
1. What tool are you using to get the vertical histogram for volume that you use to set daily supply and demand zones?
2. How are you determining POC's and specifically WPOC. I am getting different values.

Daily supply and demand i actually do just using traditional price action S&D

I follow White oak FX's method of only using zones that break opposing zones

the histogram is market profile from cluster. this also gives you the WPOC/DPOC
