Yes I am following him directly and getting mopped up so far.
Today would have been a better day for the 1% strategy.

Yes I think this won't come back until Monday so swap fees are coming out of the profit.

I agree! It's also a very bad idea to enter both GBPUSD and EURUSD at the same time, now he is stuck in highly correlated markets, both trending

Yes, will be interesting to see how this pans out. Honestly, I mean his entries are really not good...his "skills" are ONLY based on averaging in. Everybody can do this on a demo account. For me, I follow more cpfleger's approach and it works well so far.

I wanted to see him switching to trend mode as he states in his full EMA strategy videos, guess hindsight is always 20/20.

Exactly. No offense, but I think KoF's income mainly depends on selling his systems and he uses his videos to promote them.
However, I like the core of the strategy, but as said before more based on cpfleger's approach using the RSI and waiting with entry until price touches EMA 9 and S&R areas.

My friend's Cpfleger entries are certantly much more accurate.

The edge in the original KoF approach (with reckless entries) is that price tends to chop and bounce a lot most days in the shorter time-frames, so the accumulated profits in those days should be able to overcome drawdowns in the bad trending days. However, this implies the use of a soft stop-loss or daily limit to prevent a blow-up.

Your comments about KoF entering early and then watching the Market run is the main reason over a year ago I quit doing this technique because its stressful and if you open early with one trade position its easier on my stress / risk levels. But I do make it up when the price reaches the breakeven point and the Autoscaler EA assists me in making even more money now on my big account. Abades EA will support us next week when we get it fine tuned.

Don't worry my friend, there is no offense in your statement. We are not married to a method or a guru, the KoF may just be just a seller as you said the internet is full of them.

The main purpose of the thread is to put the strategy to the test, knowing the possible downfalls beforehand (especially with cost averaging added to the mix). Also, discovering different methods for timing the entries, filtering bad trades, etc. (strategy variants)

My friend, I noticed that the trailing function was overriding the initial SL position, that's why you saw it jump out of nowhere to 10 pip stop loss and messing up the initial SL distance percentage. I removed that, now price should trail from the initial stop-loss position, let me know if it works.

BTW, it's trolling time for GBPUSD staying up there for the weekend

SL Distance Percentage seems to be working allright. If you use 100 it will give you symmetrical TP and SL, if you use 200 you will get double distance for stop loss:

Let me know if that's the inteded functionality you need for the challenge. Market it's not moving at all so it's hard to test.
