DislikedFirst problems: 1. She did not open a position on the € 3000 demo account. Error message "Server Error 134: Not enough money". 2. In the M1 backtest you can see many valid patterns that the EA ignores.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Sangui, Thanks for the EA. I have two questions. Do I need to put different magic numbers to each instance of the EA on different charts? And what time frame is most preferable? Thanks. RoyPKIgnored
Disliked{quote} I used this rule: "And this 3rd bar must close higher than Bar (2)'s close (preferably its high)" with the preferably part Take a look again please and check if those ignored paterns are not left out by that preferably part. I've chosen to code it only with the preferably options as if the EA doesn't throw good results with the bests trades then the strategy is not good enough. For the error 134 check your balance and the lotage you are using, your lotage could be too high for your account.Ignored
Disliked{quote} €3000 for 0.01 lot is more than enough. There is no point in analyzing the rules when the EA doesn't work.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I just opened a new demo account, tested it and it works. This is one of the easiest EAs I've coded so far, it feels like an insult if you tell me that it doesn't work lol {image} I really think the problem is on your end. You may try another broker, symbol or account type, I don't know... If someone else can confirm his error or that it works it would be apreciate it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi RoyPK, I can only asnwer 1st question and it's no, you don't need to change MN if you don't want as there is no trailing stop or order checking after placing the orders, it's a place and forget strategy. As for the timeframe, again, it's not my strategy, that would need to be answered by OP or anyone that uses it.Ignored
DislikedI've seen this kind of setup elsewhere, not sure where. Also, I think FxCyborg had something similar in one of his methods. Regardless, I've coded up a quick indi to mark up those setups on the screen, much easier & faster than to try and decipher if each candle corresponds to the rules. As always, the signals given are much less sexier than the initial screenshots provided, but that's the case of every single thread in FF. {image} The marks appear on the bar where you're supposed to open a trade (so, after the 3rd bar of the 3 bar setup has closed)....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Is there any link to the fxcyborg post regarding this set up?Ignored
