Thats about 2 hours worth of trading today...
If i knew i could keep myself as sharp for 4 hours more i would do it.
But i know from practice and experience i cant.
So i will go and have sleep for a while and then get up and do some Muay Thai.

Heavy/Light
Now i prefer to think of price as heavy or light.
When its light it starts to hug to top SR and vice versa.
And act accordingly of course...
Thats it...

"Cheap"
Another concept that i think is important is the "cheapness" of price.
It becomes cheap as it gets close to an apparent SR.
Cheap in such a way that if it distances itself on the correct side of price (the side you guessed at) you are in for the money.
But as soon as it gets away on the wrong side you pretty much close that down for only a few pips of loss.
So to have a go is cheap, because the SL is small.
And looking for light/heavy price and cheapness is pretty much all we can do.
And then make our conjecture.
Cheap as it may be.

I like it when i look at price and i dont worry.
When it seems like i can do this.
And i dont have to force the act, i have patience.

In awe of the mystery
Existence is a mystery.
Nobody has been able to recreate life from proteins and acids.
Nobody can argue big bang since quasars, and even if they could, nobody can guess what was before big bang.
So if existence as a whole is a mystery, why and how could we know about a single thing like an act or to determine the position and velocity of subatomic particles?
It means that we are a mystery to ourselves.
Because existence is a mystery and we are it.
So our acts is a mystery.
Out future is a mystery as well as our past.

That dont mean we are left in unknown oblivion.
And it doesnt mean its impossible to make conjectures and plan accordingly.
It only means we dont REALLY know.
We are still just guessing.

Its all the clutter, all the nonsense that dont make us see it.
Remove all the clutter.
See it.
Trade it.
Go easy.
Enter first position at the area. If it gets real hairy quick, close it at a loss.
If it sort of hesitates, every time PA shows a candle with a lower/higher point then previous, enter again.
Max 3 positions... PA wise it should do it.
Just watch the PA.
See the beauty of it or stop trading.
Just looking at it should feel refreshing.
Should feel like all the possibility in the world.

Thats a buy.
Yes, that would seem to contratidct the type of trade i did May 17

I like doing this so much that i would do it even if there was no chance of getting rich doing it.
If can make only a small income doing it its worth it.
But thanks to leverage anybody can get rich.
If you got the skill, patience, time and so on.

Since i know my broker is looking over my shoulder (and they havent paid for my advice) i prefer to keep my TP and SL in my mind instead of in theyr books. If they can sort of do the math only based on how i enter and exit, i applaud them, because i could not do that as far as i know.

If a given strategy works at a given time, while another strategy works another time, it can be assumed that one strategy is not enough.
Which is counter to how most of the people here seem to think.
Which lines up with the fact that most people here, and other traders loose money.
I mean its not like Sun Tzu wrote: "If you have more soldiers then the enemy, always attack."

Ignored
By that i mean that a given, formulated strategy is adequate to a certain context.
While another given, formulated strategy is adequate in a another certain context.

I guess this works piece by piece.
Meaning take for instance the fantasy that a 50 pip SL and TP is adequate.
That would be assuming the volatility stayed the same all the time, wouldnt it?
And that the movement of many pairs/intstruments was the same in size over time, wouldnt it?

Its quite evident to me that if buying low and selling high always worked the market would stay in a range forever.
And if following the trend worked always the markets would crash.

What is strange to me is that few people, if any takes into account how many times something happend.
Meaning for instance that price hit a SR 4 times, what does that mean as opposed to if it hit it 2 times?

What you cant say
I have used this analogy before i think but here it goes:
A good football player or hockey player cant explain her/his whole game.
Someone asked Lerdsila, one of the best muay thai fighters about his style and he just said "Sneaky style".
So why do people think that a good trader can explain her/his whole thing?
Why do the traders themselves think they can explain it?
I think that little of it can be explained, the rest is learned, known, practiced.

A fair advantage
I was listening to Andrew Bustamante on Sean Andrews show.
Sean Andrews is not smart. He dont seem to know who is the enemy and who is the good guys. But thats one bit...
The other thing is that Bustamante is looking for a "unfair advantage". That was/is his job at the CIA.
I dont like that. I dont like that sort of outlook on life. Because it procreates war, famine and suffering.
Im instead looking for a FAIR advantage. An advantage EVERYONE at least in theory can aquire.
A advantage that comes with training, with time, with patiance, with sacrifice.
There is a lot of things i would rather do then sit around and trade and MAYBE make some money.
But its the best thing my limited mind can conceive of to reach my goal.
Its the best thing my limited mind con think of to create a better future for my son.
I might be totally wrong. It might be a bad way. It might not work out in the end.
But thats being human for you, we dont ever know what will work out in the end.

Cheers and happy trading!

Doubt
Doubt is smart peoples medicine. Doubt is balance of wisdom. Doubt is essential.
I doubt myself and my beliefs and my acts. Sometimes i doubt to much and for too long and thats not a good thing.
But some doubt there should be room for. Doubt is a part of beliefs. Maybe a shadowy, not so nice part, but a part nonetheless.
A part you CANT do without. You CANT have beliefs without doubt. If it would SEEM like you have beliefs without doubt,
those are not real beliefs, thats PROGRAMMING and DOGMAS. Those are dangerous. And stupid.

Dumb people abhor doubt. It makes them scared. It makes them feel kind of like death is at the door.
Its because dumb people are also weak. Theyr minds are weak. And maybe they should not have all the blame themselves.
